Your Emmy Picks 2011: Guest Actor in a Comedy Series

7 Jul 2011

We continue today with outstanding guest star in a comedy series. In my opinion this was a much easier choice than the women.

You can choose up to six people in each category. Also, who do you think should be nominated and who do you think will be nominated?

Sound off below in the comments after you've voted.

For comparison here are last year's nominees:

Neil Patrick Harris (Glee) - Winner
Fred Willard (Modern Family)
Mike O'Malley (Glee)
Jon Hamm (30 Rock)
Eli Wallach (Nurse Jackie)
Will Arnett (30 Rock)

You can still vote in previous polls:

Supporting Actress in a Drama Series
Supporting Actor in a Drama Series

  1. Voted for Jim Rash and John Lithgow
Usually I'm a fan of Kevin Corrigan but didn't really like him on Community :(

Also what other categories would you like to see? I think I've been through all the actor categories now.

  6. It ought to be a battle between John Lithgow on HIMYM and Timothy Dalton on Chuck.  Nothing wrong with Lithgow's performance, but Dalton had to play three different personalities on Chuck, sometimes all in the same episode and he made it funny as hell.  (Watch Hot Fuzz if you don't believe that.)  Dalton ought to win it running away, hopefully.

  7. Kevin Corrigan, Jim Rash, John Lithgow, and Timothy Dalton.  I didn't think there were any other performances good enough to vote for so I left it at four.

  8. I'm so glad Tim Dalton is getting the support that he deserves, he was great on this season of Chuck. Too bad he probably won't be getting nominated. The emmy's will probably just go with guys like Ferrell, Stamos, Damon, Lane and Schwartz which is a real shame.

I think writing categories would go over well here.

I am so not a fan of Glee, but Darren Criss went to high school with my girlfriend and once sang back-up, for HER, so I don't mind seeing him succeed.  :P

  13. I'd love for Darren Criss to get at least nominated, but then again I kind of think it won't happen. At all. (Don't ask me why. I can't even explain it).
    So I voted for him.
No 2nd vote for me, and no "Other" as well, because I've been thinking about this for at least 10 minutes now, but I can't make up my mind about this.
