Thanks to ilenya for the heads up.
LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- USA has locked in the summer finales for its seven original series.
First to close for the summer will be "In Plain Sight" on Sunday, August 7 at 10:00/9:00c. The Mary McCormack-led hour has already been picked up for a fifth season.
Next up are "White Collar" and "Covert Affairs," which will both wrap their 10-week runs on Tuesday, August 9. They'll likely return this winter for the back half of their seasons - the former's third and the latter's second, respectively.
Meanwhile, "Royal Pains" will likewise conclude its 10-episode summer season on Wednesday, August 31 at 9:00/8:00c while "Necessary Roughness" will sign off on its freshman run two weeks later on Wednesday, September 14 at 10:00/9:00c. "Pains" then is expected to return this winter for the remainder of its third season.
And finally, "Burn Notice" and "Suits" will wrap their 12-week seasons on Thursday, September 8. "Notice" presumably will return for the rest of its fifth season this winter with season six due next summer.
USA has yet to announce its fall/winter bows, which include season six of its veteran "Psych."

Tuesday Aug 9 is way too early. It's almost 2 months before Supernatural begins. Burn Notice is more reasonable.
ReplyDeleteThe In Plain Sight season has been going by really fast. Glad we're going to get another one.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe we're thinking of summer finale dates already.
ReplyDelete:( no more White Collar until winter?! and only 4 episodes yet... :'( and we have to wait too long for Psych!! more than a year! :(((((((
ReplyDeleteThat was going fast.. It seems just like yesterday that White Collar started oO :(
ReplyDeleteI wanna know when Psych is coming back already. Its one of my favorite shows and normally, they have their summer season to hold me over until all the other awesome shows come back. Now, its like torture waiting for it along with every other show I watch
ReplyDeleteKind of sad to see the dates, these shows make the summer more fun.
ReplyDeleteEven though USA's 10 episode summer runs are only 2-3 episodes shorter than other shows it seems to go by so much quicker than that. It's already weird to be thinking I won't see any new episodes of Necessary Roughness or Suits until next summer.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this! I hate to think that the Summer run is just about over :(
