  2. I wish there was a bit more detail about what the aftermath of breaking Sam's wall will be like.

  3. The whole line about season 7 happening on earth instead of off screen is nice. I just hope this isn't...dare I say it... redundant.

  4. I know this will sound weird but i love the fact how Sara keep avoiding to answer what will happend with Castiel with Sam and sort of these things.. I mean the more she keep saying anything the more i want September to come funny right? hehe!

  5. I love how Sera can give an interview and end up giving nothing away :)
    She's awesome!

And even the Impala thing - hey we always knew she'd be back as black and shiny and kick ass as ever!

  6. Love this interview because a lot of what she says is what I want to hear.  I LOVE the idea of sticking to earth instead of heaven.  I think Supernatural took a wrong turn at heaven and am glad to get back to a more grounded season.  Having the promise of new monsters/creatures also excites me.  We know AlphaVamp is coming back and we rarely go 2 years without a shifter, so the idea of something new makes me happy.  I'm good with new recurring characters that hopefully won't make us attached just to see them die.  And Crowley is always a good thing.

Not so happy about the skirt around the dark emo question though.  I think Supernatural has gone as dark and depressing as it can get.  It's time to let the sun shine in and put a little joy back in the brothers' lives.  No I'm not talking unicorns and rainbows - unless the unicorn is goring people and the rainbow brings evil.  I'm talking about the smiles and laughs they had in season 1.  They are never going to be truly happy but let's allow them some happy moments instead of making every day worse than the next.  I thought season 6 started heading this way for a glimmer of time.  I hope that is an encouraging sign for season 7.

  8. "We'll also have ghosts and a story with psychics and mediums."
YES! That's exactly what I was missing the whole season 6 through. Add a couple of demon hunts and exorcisms and I'll be a very happy person ;)

lol and they always answer the questions about someone dead coming back with "it's Supernatural". Really, they're not saying anything by that.

  9. thats probably the plot of ONE episode and most likely the one with the appearance from Alona Tal's Jo as a ghost

  10. she said a lot of these things going in to season 6 too and how much of it did we see. It sounds like a rehashing of season 6 to me.

  11. my thoughts exactly

  12. the one story I'm actually looking forward to, I think they can do a lot with it and the impact it has on Sam and Dean

  13. I'm pretty sure Jim Beaver suggested that in one of the first few episodes we see the Impala being fixed, I hope its a group effort with Sam, Dean and Bobby-thats what it sounded like to me anyway

  14. Sera was far from being my favourite writed and she didn't manage to impress him with her showrunning skills. IMO she has good ideas but I think she has a hard time lining them up properly (and if S6 didn't manged to sell me 100% on that fact, this interview veriefied it for me). From a storytelling POV that can get messy so I have to say I'm a bit weary....

  15. I've always a mixed reception to SG as a writer, she has written some amazing episodes and some truly awful episodes. As a show-runner I find it hard to judge her based on the one season so far. For me season 6 was by far the worst of all 6 I found the story-lines to be boring and the writing to be down right terrible out times. Like you said she has some good ideas but execution of said ideas doesn't always work out. Her interviews always highlight that fact, she talks about exciting things she intends to do with the show but then doesn't deliver them or does but the pale in comparison to what was promised. Season 6 was talked about in very much the same fashion as season 7 is now-there's a buzz for certain story-lines and there's a lot of complaining about certain story-lines based on the vague tid-bits we've had, but the truth is these interviews mean absolutely nothing. We wont actually know what's going to happen until it actually happens. I have learnt my lesson when it comes to this show and expectations-and that is to not expect at all, just sit and try to enjoy the ride because no doubt it'll be a bumpy and messy one.

I've encountered a lot of complaining and bitching from Dean girls based on this interview the lack of mention of a storyline for Dean in the coming season has many of them up in arms as usual, but I'd just like to point out that the interviewer didn't actually ask a question about story-lines for Dean in season 7 she made referenced to his season 6 storyline when asking a question about something else. Does that mean there is no story for Dean next season? No all it means is the interviewer didn't ask the question many wanted to be asked. I reserve judgement on the topic untill after comic-con where I'm sure more on every characters story line will be revealed. After all the reason we know more about Sam,s and Cas's stories are because they are left over from last season, in Dean's case he has the possibility of a whole new one. Either way Dean is never short of things to do, reasons to angst, feelings to share, lines to deliver and so on. Whatever they have in store for him though I do hope its less angsty and boring than his season 6 one.

  16. But didn't she rather say that this is what season 7 will not be anymore? Not this "emo" anymore? So I guess we can actually hope for some truly happy moments. Probably not right in the beginning - of course. But throughout the season.

  17. Judging from that interview, I guess Alona Tal is not the only actress we'll meet again for this season - or actor, for that matter. I do hope to see some of them again. I mean, this show's called Supernatural. Sam & Dean escaped death ... how many times? I don't think it'd be wrong to bring some others back at least for a limited time.

"What we're saying is that Cas is not evil.  He's transformed.  That
might not be good, but that's not mustache-twirling evil either."
Of course he's not evil. He just kind of has a wrong perspective of things by now. But it still /seems/ evil.

  18. don't know what thinking about this interview she said loving misha/castiel but she seemed also to get him out of the way...
not sure that this awesome angel survived to this season 7...me either..because for me he's an essential no matter what some fan thinking...you can put out a character who lives with us till 3 years like he was never there...and kil him like a hero in redemption will be a too easily solution...they put him in God-cass..to them, to deal with that without blood on the floor....

very happy about metallicar...no spn without her...love this car...

curious to know what about the wall of sam...seemed that he done to stuff too quick for his mind...hope to see something about his hell (more than for dean hell) and hope to see him save, don't want to see sam suffer again, he had done...
hope to see dean tries to save his former friend...
because with alone castiel in heaven and brothers together on the road...i search a sense to the sentence of dean about brotherhood and family ...
