Guy:You know I was about to take a picture of the technical package … so it’s “Meet The New Boss”, “Hello Cruel World”, “Girl Next Door” and I know what four is. Bob Singer is coming up Thursday for that.

  1. Great interview! (Even though the grammar issues bothered me, as a former English major.) And yay for season seven! Can't wait for it to start.

    Thanks so much :)

  3. I agree with Guy about Frontierland.  "Gallows Pole" would have been a better title.

  4. So Samuel Colt had Ruby's demon knife too.  I really wish that had made it on screen.

  5. That's exactly what went through my mind too!
Note to self: must remember to be grateful for any news - grammatically correct or otherwise.

  6. I can't wait for season 7!  And I love Guy Bee for giving us all these interviews.

  7. Kind of alittle mad about that. Probably would have only been 30sec-1min extra, could have easily edited down the jail cell scene with Dean,The Deputy and Elias.

I always did have a suspicion that the ending to that scene was cut just never saw him having the knife.

So from here on out I consider Colt's knife. Not Ruby's.

  10. Even though I have no idea what it could mean for the episode, I think it's a really awesome title.

  11. They could have shortened some of Sam and Samuel Colt's talk, that way they could have added Ruby's knife.  I felt their scenes were long and drawn out.

  12. Having never heard of 'Guy Bee' and seeing that one sentence on its own without the full interview, I had absolutely no idea what it was saying...

It makes more sense when in context :P

Im so psyched to see where the season goes. Why can't it be September already?!?!?!?!?!

  14. First installment.  I do hope we get to read the rest of it.  I wonder what Singer's episode is about?

  15. I agree with you on the grammar.

  16. I always preferred "Gallows Pole."  "Frontierland"  sounded childish to me.

  17. 57% of the waiting is over :) Hang in there

  18. Sounds interesting pumped for season 7

  19. Guy Bee is the best director at keeping fans in touch without actually spoiling anything.  Best of both worlds.

  20. I wondered why they changed it and chalked it up to legal issues.  If they really did change it to be a song title, that was a mistake.  The original sounded by far spookier and darker.

  21. Agreed.  We know that the big bad is introduced and something major happens with Cas, but I'm not sure how this connects to the title.  The suspense is killing me.

  22. It's episode 4 supposed to be called, "Defending Your Life"? Anyways great interview with guy he's always so nice to the fans and I really hope the dvds have the cut scenes from Frontierland. Though I definitely agree with Guy that Gallow's Pole would have been a supremely better title. Come on Led Zepplin album name over Disney theme park which has already been used a joke in the show for the same set way back in season 2 episode 21. It just fit so much better with the rest of SPN's episode titles. Not only have we lost all the good music but was also got ripped out of an awesomely named episode title.

  23. Isn't "Defending Your LIfe" the title of a film?  Some kind of afterlife thing?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Yup it was a romantic comedy drama (dramedy?) about, Daniel Miller a LA advertsing executive, who dies in a car accident on his birthday and is sent to the afterlife. He arrives in Judgment City, a  purgatory-like
waiting area populated by the recently-deceased of the western half of
the United States, where he is to undergo the process of having his life
    on earth judged.

So I'm thinking this is an episode about purgatory or about Sam and Dean having to defend their lifes' actions. Maybe they've died again somehow?

  25. Interesting.
Yes, could be Sam and Dean or any one of the characters really. Perhaps even, by twisting it a little, Jo, getting a second go down on Earth.
Very curious about this episode as I am about all 4 we have heard about.
I feel it's going to be a great season.

  26. I'd actually missed that information, thank you.

So, it could relate to the introduction of the big bad, but I don't have any theories as to how, lol!
I'm marking off the days on my calender, but if anything, I think it's making things worse...

  27. All the hype is helping me and not. I'm so greedy to get even snippets of info over the hellatus, but it's hellish to wait so long too. And as I'm officially after my holiday already i wouldn't mind for September to come ALREADY :>

  28. I didn't think licensing and copyright restrictions extended to song titles but maybe they do.  Lot's of shows use song titles to title their episodes so I don't get what the problem might be.  What I do know is that Led Zeppelin is famously protective of their catalog to the point of being dicks about it.

  29. Thank you :) This was an interesting read.
