Getting so many spoilers it's hard to keep up!
ReplyDeleteI AM SO EXCITED FOR SEASON SEVEN.
why a second post??
ReplyDeleteThe other one was getting a bit too long.
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeleteMaybe this will shut up the Dean/Cas slash fangirls.
ReplyDeleteI doubt it though.
Some really interesting stuff coming from the CON-
ReplyDelete-Everything they know as hunters isn't going to work anymore. It's a whole new game.
"I've gotten chills reading S7 scripts" - Jared
"We see Sam struggle to figure out whether or not it's a dream" - Jared
S7 will deal with Sam remembering Hell and what follows...
"We've shot ep1 - almost done with ep2" - Jared
Talking with Jim Beaver. He and Jared both said there will be a new big bad this season and will emerge in ep 2.
Sera is pleased with the new writers and says they have no shortage of ideas.
ReplyDelete"S7 picks up right where we left off" - Jared
"My favorite Sam is souless Sam" - Jared
They are going to introduce a new character, a friend of Bobby's, that's a conspiracy theorist
Sera also said that Sam's gonna suffer a major break in his psyche and it's going to bring a lot of problems that can't be fixed.
http://twitpic.com/5v8mo1
Misha on how much of him we'll see this season: "if you have a poster of me on your wall you'll see me daily"
Oops, S7. Getting ahead of myself! Young Sam is going to be back in #Supernatural S7. Sam is going to have major issues with Castiel #spncc
I honestly hope so. The slash fanservice got a bit too heavy in season six.
ReplyDeleteBen Edlund is writing #Supernatural #7.3 "Hello Cruel World"
ReplyDeleteMisha Collins on Winchesters' reduced power next season: They're more Butch Cassidy & Sundance Kid than Thelma & Louise
In his new role, Ben Edlund is still heavily involved in the show but will still be stepping back to consider other things.
Ben Edlund is going go direct another episode this season. He found the last experience terrifying.

It would be awesome but it isn't going to happen. (sigh)
ReplyDeleteThese are posted on the other SDCC spoiler thread - part 1.
ReplyDelete“Dean sees Cas as family, nothing more.”— Sera Gamble #Supernatural #SDCC Like THAT'S gonna stop us thinking otherwise pfff nice try AHHAH :P
ReplyDelete“I, uh, I think Cas stares at Dean so much because he finds him… very interesting.”... SEE not helping at all!
THANKS ALL! !!!! need the sneak peek omg!
Never MWHAHHAHAHAHA
ReplyDeletepeeking a clip from Episode 3, which he directed this year. It's a look i
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a great season. I wish it would hurry and get here.
ReplyDelete-the stuff about Sam in season 7 sounds really good, the not being able tell what is real and what isnt sounds excellent
ReplyDelete-I like that we're getting a new big bad in episode 2 and it aint going to be Cas by the sound of it
-sound like there might be a lot less Cas after the first couple of episodes than I first thought, I do expect him to pop up near the end of the season again though-but I'm pleased so far
-no more Lisa and Ben thank god
-Dean questioning why he does the whole hunting thing sounds like it could be interesting, I'd like to see him find his love of the hunt again and I only think he can do that if he actually gets to see the good he and Sam do by saving people. I think the Winchesters need some WINS under there belts this season.
Holy crap, that was exhausting. And so many spoilers. I CANNOT WAIT FOR SEASON SEVEN IT IS GOING TO BE EPIC.
ReplyDeleteI would it if you forgot about Adam, Sera. Just have someone in heaven mention him and move along.
ReplyDeleteTo the spoiler about Dean doing some soul searching. If Dean Winchester was real and I were him I would be doing some soul searching and asking why after all that has happened too.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I know Gamble and the writers probably don't want to go there, but at some point before the end of the series Dean and Sam need to have a talk with God. And not just a message from him.
Winchesters winning on their own without any qualifiers is my #1 season 7 wish. It's beginning to feel like the Winchesters can't win and that's just depressing. More fun, more wins, less emoangsting. That's where I hope season 7 goes.
ReplyDeleteI hope that Supernatural forever avoids having "God" on screen. They have said they have no intention of going there and I think it is a smart move. They need to move on from heaven and religion as a whole, not add things.
ReplyDeleteMany things I like in these spoilers. 2 things I don't and one I'm iffy on. I don't like that they are messing with Crowley. He better stay alive and snarky. He's one of my favorite characters. Really don't like the idea of the Big Bad being someone other than Cas. (unless it's Crowley) I think MegaloCas has lots of potential and it keeps him from being a too powerful ally for the brothers. Just like Eve, if they don't build a story around him, it will be a wasted opportunity. That's not to say that I don't trust the writers because I do. If something else is on the horizon, I'm sure it will be awesome too.
ReplyDeleteAt the risk of starting yet another brother war, which I really, really am tired of reading, I'm iffy about the emphasis being put on Sam's post-hell stress. While the reality vs not thing is a refreshing take, this plot line could get draggy very quickly and bog down the season. I'm not saying ignore it, but it's a heavy weight to hang a season on. Again I'm trusting the writers and can't wait to see what they have in store for us in season 7. Here's to September!
Why? If Gamble really means what she says, then they are doing poor job of showing it.
ReplyDeleteIt's once more a case of "showing one thing, telling another" - like with Stargate Atlantis: McKay was in love with Keller, but when he got sick and started losing himself, he wanted John - kept yelling his name and running to him every time John left the infirmary - not the woman he loved who was standing right in front of him.
Until writers put their pens where their mouths are, there will always be stubtext *shrugs* And honestly, I don't get why it keeps bothering people so. Why begrudge someone else's fun?
I don't want the season hanging on it either. They did that with Dean in season 4 and it wore out in a hurry.
ReplyDelete:D Hi everyone! Who remembers me? i'm back!
ReplyDeleteI stopped watching Spn for a long time but Comic Con push me back :D I should finish S6 one day xD..
So who's happy I'm back after such a long time? :D I sure remember all of you and you have no idea how you missed me all! <3 <3 <3 3< <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3
One thought: I hated Ghost Facers. I absolutely truly hated it. Very much. So if you plan on experimenting with another meta-episode and if it turns out anything like this one, then I'd rather not wanna see another meta-episode. I loved the one last season. I loved the television one. But not ghost facers.
ReplyDelete:P booo!!!
ReplyDelete- "We will be seeing him for more than one episode.”— (about Castiel) Sera Gamble
ReplyDeleteI wish she'd stop saying this. We already know he's in esisode 2, so this tells us nothing!
- “I think Dean was mad at Castiel for working with Crowley because he knew Crowley couldn’t be trusted. I mean, he tried to go back on his deal with Bobby.”— Ben Edlund
My problem with this is that Dean and RoboSam worked with/for Crowley for several weeks catching monsters for him, knowing he couldn't be trusted. I hope they address the hypocrisy of this and don't gloss over it.
- “I don’t want to give it away, but you will all be shocked on what happens with Crowley.”— Ben Edlund
OK, this has my attention.
- Misha talking about how perfect a fit God is for him #SDCC #SPN
Agreed!
- JIm Beaver on Jared's character trying to kill him: "Sam didn't mean it...we're good"
Sam, or RoboSam anyway, did mean it, but I'm glad they're moving past this.
- Sam will realize more what he saw now that the wall is down. There's confusion w/ reality, healing
I hope this means that Sam's amnesia had a point - that he knew things in Hell or as RoboSam that were important to what was going on. I'd like to see more of this, and I'm excited about the Sam psychic break comments. I enjoy a good helping of angst now and again.
- "we get to see what can scare the Winchester boys." - Jared
Nice!
- Jensen on Dean's goodbye to Lisa: "That's never going to be his life. He's a hunter and that's how its always gonna be"
Yes!!!!
- Sera Gamble says that Chuck will not be appearing in the early part of the season, and they have no plans for him
I'm OK with this. Chuck was fun, but he should stay gone.
- Padalecki's favorite part is doing the brothers bickering scenes.
It's one of my favorite parts too. It makes them more human.
- Misha says the antichrist thing is ironic & we'll find out why in the first couple episodes.
This one's got my attention too.
Have to say I agree and we are definitely in the minority. I'm not interested in meta for meta's sake. Not do I ever care to see the Ghostfacers again.
ReplyDeleteI'd say they hung season 4 more around lying, the brother relationship fracture, and Sam's blood addiction. Which is why I tend to like pre-season 4 better.
ReplyDeleteI think it all depends on how you look at it.
ReplyDeleteTo me, there is nothing romantic about the Dean/Cas relationship. Never has been. It never seemed like more than a feeling of family to me. Trust like hardly any other ever got from them. But nothing romantic. While other fans insist on everything pointing to Cas and Dean being head over heals for each other.
It don't think the authors aimed for this "subtext". It just happened. It's not their fault. It's not a bad thing either. I'm just saying that I don't think the writers have to change any way about how they write Dean & Cas scenes. They seem perfectly fine to me.
And I agree with you on that last part. I don't see why it's bothering people. I mean, I'm seeing it differently, but I don't see why others couldn't have their own opinion about it. I mean, that's part of the fun, isn't it? That everyone is interpreting characters / actions / events differently to some extend.
:) Boo to you too!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a really long time since I,ve talk to you! How have you been??
Did I miss something big here during the last couple of months or everyone behaved well ? :P
This is exactly why I don't understand why they went there with Cas in the first place. They said they wouldn't go there. Now Cas is all of a sudden ... well, God, as they always say it. And I don't like it 'cause it's taking it a bit too far for me.
ReplyDeleteAs for the other God ... or actual God ... or however you wanna name him now with Cas being around. I do hope they at least stick to their original plan when it comes to God and not show the character. Ever.
And while I love that they brought it all in, not just because it gave us Cas, I agree with Dahne . Don't add anything new.
Dean didn't talk about Hell that much, but he was depressed and moody throughout the season, and a lot of the brother conflicts were as much about Dean's reactions as they were Sam's. Also, the storyline with the angels - with them telling Dean that the weight of the world rested on his shoulders, and Dean being too broken to handle it - was a big part of season 4. And Sam seeing Dean so broken was what fed his addiction to the blood - he felt helpless in being not able to help Dean and wanted the power the blood gave him to fix things.
ReplyDeleteOh, I do agree that "subtext" isn't the writers' fault, it usually isn't. And that's the thing. Many writers SAY one thing or let the characters SAY one thing, but let them DO or SHOW with their doing something completely different - see my SGA example above.
ReplyDeleteSlash is subtextual in 99% of cases and it's mostly in the eye of the beholder, broadcast TV, especially in the US, is simply not open enough yet to actually go there with many characters so slash fans have to make do with deep bromance :)
I just don't get why peeps are so bothered by it. So I ship Dean/Cas in Supernatural and Audrey/Nate in Haven and House/Wilson in House and Tony/Ziva in NCIS, big deal *shrugs* I don't care if het or slash, the couple just has to click for me.
I still maintain that Cas is not God or even a god. I think he's a seriously juiced up and powerful megalomaniac. That's why I think his character could be a lot of fun. I could see them visiting some other gods that they didn't kill off in Hammer of the Gods to take him down. No God needed.
ReplyDeleteI think by that time Sam was already addicted to demon blood and the pride that came from all that power. It was a rush and he was a junkie just like with any other drug.
ReplyDeleteCas is a God, and you forgot that Kripke is a Sandman fan.... so...
ReplyDeleteBut they did actually call him God, didn't they? I mean, it'd be awesome if it was just Cas' screwed up way of thinking now that makes him think he's God rather than Cas actually being God. Yet, I'll remain sceptical and won't believe anything until we actual see what he is now. I mean, I guess if some other important - religious? - characters appear and just tell Dean & Sam "Oh, don't worry, he's not actually God, he's just gone mental and needs to some supernatural-rehab" (you know, because of the many souls), then I believe they don't actually mean he's God when they say he is. But until then, it all sounds to me if Sera & the rest actually mean it this way. And I don't like it.
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, there's some of the other Gods left, isn't there? Please bring those in again to help. That'd be a solution I could live with when it comes to higher powers being needed.
"he's just gone mental and needs to some supernatural-rehab"
ReplyDeleteBwah! I love teh way you phrase things. Maybe that can be Ben Edlund's new crack episode. It takes place at a supernatural mental hospital for all those monsters/creatures that are having trouble adjusting to a post-Mother of All world. Vamps who are too depressed to eat. Skinwalkers who can't deal now that the Alpha male is toast. Fairies with OCD. Could be a lot of fun.
I'm not sure what you mean by "by that time," but I'd agree that yes, by the end of the season, the addiction had taken over and Sam was a junkie. But I saw the addiction growing slowly over the course of the season, and I think Sam saw that Dean was suffering from PTSD from early on, shortly after Dean got back. The fact that Sam was unable to prevent Dean from going to Hell in the first place was also a factor in Sam initially trying the blood.
ReplyDeleteDean didn't talk about hell but it was always there through all of the first half of the season. I hope they don't do that with Sam. Yeah they have to deal with it but I can't take another melt down like they did to Dean.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait really !!!!
ReplyDeleteSam's got a different personality makeup than Dean. Whereas Dean internalizes, Sam gets angry. I sometimes like it when Sam's not so nice, so we'll see how this goes. It could liven things up.
ReplyDeleteI like the confirmation that there are no plans to bring Chuck back.
ReplyDeleteI love your thinking! I agree with it all and hope its what we see! The love of hunting return to Dean (much like saw in "Monster Story)with Sam by his side and some wins under their belt with some good old regular monster hunting and oh heck back to what we've missed so much hunting things, saving people when it used to actually be the family business!
ReplyDelete"“I don’t want to give it away, but you will all be shocked on what happens with Crowley.”— Ben Edlund"
ReplyDeleteAs long as he's back, it's all good.
LMOA!!!!!!!!! see this right here is why I love these people and this show.....
ReplyDeleteThanks
