Stargate: Extinction Movie - Atlantis producer reveals more details

Cancelled ShowsJust how would that Stargate Atlantis movie have played out? Writer andhttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif executive producer Joseph Mallozzi described the script’s opening scenes to readers on his blog a few months ago (story). Now he’s offered up a few more details on the storyline that would have taken the city of the Ancients back to the Pegasus Galaxy.
Mallozzi previously revealed that Stargate: Extinction would have opened with Atlantis relocated from its landing site in the San Francisco Bay (“Enemy At the Gate”) to the far side of the Moon, away from prying eyes. But the Ancients programmed an automated self-destruct should the city ever be taken out of Pegasus — which activates, prompting the team to fire up the stardrive and make a mad dash home.

I'm pretty sure he's saying there will NOT be a Stargate Atlantis movie at this time.
ReplyDeleteSo they will product THIS movie about Stargate Atlantis but they decided to cancel Stargate SG-1's movie ! I'll prefer the SG-1's movie, personnally !
ReplyDeleteEven though Atlantis lost its sparkle for me in the later seasons I liked the idea of Atlantis on Earth, even temporarily. I'd have loved to see how they dealt with the effect it had on revealing aliens and the Stargate program to the public.
