Lauren Holly Guest Stars as Gail's Mother, Superintendent Elaine Peck

"In Plain View" - When a police informant's murder points to the involvement of the notoriously brutal East Jameson gang, the division realizes that cracking this case will not be easy. And when Gail's intimidating mother, Superintendent Elaine Peck, arrives on the scene, there is even more pressure to solve the case. Meanwhile, Andy finds herself paired with Detective Rosati, whose unintentional disclosure of a secret puts Andy's relationship with Luke in jeopardy. And Gail, stressed out by her mother's presence in the station, is assigned to protect the only known witness to the crime -- a seemingly homeless eight-year-old boy with a shocking secret of his own -- on "Rookie Blue," THURSDAY, JULY 28 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

"Rookie Blue" stars Missy Peregrym as Andy McNally, Gregory Smith as Dov Epstein, Charlotte Sullivan as Gail Peck, Enuka Okuma as Traci Nash, Travis Milne as Chris Diaz, Ben Bass as Sam Swarek and Eric Johnson as Detective Luke Callaghan. Also starring in the series are Melanie Nicholls-King as Noelle Williams, Matt Gordon as Oliver Shaw, Noam Jenkins as Detective Jerry Barber and Lyriq Bent as Frank Best.

Guest starring in "In Plain View" are Camille Sullivan as Detective Jo Rosati, Lauren Holly ("NCIS," "Picket Fences") as Superintendent Elaine Peck and Samantha Munro as Deena.

"In Plain Sight" was written by Adam Barken and directed by David Wellington.

    yes. I knew they weren't going to take the risk of killing Luke. Now the engagement just pisses me off.

  3. I figured that might be the case with some people.  I never took the engagement or Luke's life being in danger very seriously anyway.  Actually, If I'm being totally honest, I don't take this show seriously but I enjoy it nonetheless.
