Loved this one! Jason Dream Made Me Laugh Out Loud So Much!!!!! LMFAO! and there were many interesting scene and my long awaited kiss (at least for me) and real Sokkie/Eric kiss
Bothered by Jason equating rape with sex and believing it to be punishment for having consensual sex. It's a pretty common thought in the real world and one of the reasons why 60% of rapes aren't reported.
On less serious things, I really liked Bill addressing the remaining Sheriffs. I think I'd like to see more of them, they looked sassy.
I'm definitely glad that Tara told Sookie off, she really needed that.
finally another eric/sookie kiss. tara bothers me so much sometimes. she didn't even give sookie a chance to explain what is with eric. poor pam. bill sucks. i hope sookie talks to her grandmother again because i feel she has some important things to tell sookie. jason is so stupid of course he would see what happened to him as punishment and not rape. i really love lafayette and jesus. can't wait till next week.
Had stoopid power outage and had to wait for the second showing to view. At least I saw that!
If I were God, I would send Arlene's prayers to voice-mail too! XD Wow, does crazy think inviting more crazy into its house will help calm things down? Inviting the Rev. and Tara's crazy mom to get rid of evil and crazy is like inviting rats in to get rid of the cockroaches!I hope the three stooges pull their collective heads out of their collectives asses and start doing something that is well thought out and planned... Knowing Tara, Lafayette and Jesus, That is not very likely. Hell, they're more likely to poke each other's eyes and make 'whoop woo woo woo woo' noises than do something useful. Of course they will end up saving the day in some back asswards way in the end....It's so odd to agree with Tara about ANYTHING... but I agree she should have never left N'awlenz (and therefore had a lesser role this year). She has got to be one of the most annoying characters on TV.I sure hope they got that blood-splattered kid some psychiatric counseling. Future Dexters we don't need! The Eric/Sookie dynamic is just incredible with this AmnesiEric plot! Best part of the season by far. As it should be since Sookie is the focus of the entire series after all.."The world needs more beekeepers!" XD King Bill is a hoot! Duty-bound Bill is so much better than booty-bound Bill in my opinion!Jason is so right that sex has screed up his life. Well, more precisely his bad judgement while chasing tail. He needs to learn to read the "crazy eyes" much better before he steps into the dating pool again! At least he now sees friends' girlfriends as off limits.... dreams don't count of course.Well Tommy killing his mom and dad gives him skinwalker abilities maybe. I hope that means Sam has to take out Tommy eventually. I can handle Same with that power as long as the rest of his family is gone. Two down... one to go.Overall my least favorite episode of the season by far. Way too much time spent on Tara, Lafayette and Jesus, Arlene and Terry, and Sam and Tommy! I liked the plot advancements in most arcs, but it sill was not much better than "Ok" to me... No where near Great.
Jason's lamenting that everything bad that's ever happened to him is because of sex (and he proved that to us in his nightmare....which made me laugh so hard I was crying.) Was I the only one who felt like, for a moment, (while Jason was telling Hoyt about his trials), that Hoyt was trying desperately not to laugh or yell "Dude, that's awesome! Why are you complaining?"
OH! And when Hoyt mentioned his troubles with Jessica...Jason basically demanded the conversation return to ME! Me! Me! LOL
Sorry. I forgot what the other gems I was gonna mention were....now I'm giggle about Jason's nightmare again. LOL
I just remembered. My favorite line.... "When my Gran tells me to run. I run." However, apparently, when Sookie's Gran says "Don't give your heart to this new guy." she doesn't listen.
There was just so very much hysterical in this ep. The exorcism, Bill's reaction to Pam. Jason's conversation with Hoyt. Jason's nightmare.
Alcide is too far away. I find that I don't really care. ( None of the guys on scene are my favorite of Sookie's men from the books.)
It was nice to see Tommy *finally* use a brain cell. The alligator was genius. Though that might have been his ONLY brain cell. I'm guessing it won't take Tommy too long to forget that, when he needed his big brother he was there.
Too bad we have to wait a week before we get to see Bill up on a high horse complaining that Sookie lied to him. boo hoo Bill.
I laughed so much at the 'Too bad we have to wait a week before we get to see Bill up on a high horse complaining that Sookie lied to him. boo hoo Bill." comment!
Less filler sub-plots, more important things, please!!! I dont know if Arlene's kid is evil or its that chucky doll Jessica gave him, but I hope we are not gonna see a glimpse of this story till the end of the season....Another episode with Andy and his unhappy face...I'm so interested in Marnie and her being possessed, the backstory of that powerfull Spanish witch, Eryc, Sookie, and Bill that I cant really care about these subplots, like Bills granddaughter. There is so many characters this season that I'm expecting some slaughter in the finale.
100% agree on Tara, one of the most annoying characters on TV. Lafayette with a new terrible hairstyle & Jesus are almost as annoying at the moment, get rid of all 3 and I'm more than okay with that.Jason's plot continued to be somewhat interesting. At least he doesn't annoy me like he did in the last 3 seasons. And King Bill is for me pretty much the best thing about the show right now. Without whining about Sookie all the time, he's a much better character. But all in all I wasn't impressed by this episode, to be honest, I'm not really impressed by the entire season so far.
i like this episode because is about how we love and hate one person for things that he or she will do to hurt us,mother like sams brother situation, friends like tara thinks sookie betray her for keep eric hidding without knowing what happend to him is a very complicate feelings may be the episode was to simple but cover all tracks left behind in the next episode we see how aliance are made to fight a common enemie thats spirit witch from spain and how sookie realy had a heart to love to diferent persons.
I´m so happy to read your comments and see that I´m not the only one with no love for Tara. What a waste of space. I hate her story line, just like I did last season.
I like Sookie and Eric and can´t wait to see more of Bill´s reaction next week. It was nice to see Sookie in Merlotte´s again. I´m getting use to Bill being King. It´s nice to see him involved in another story line that doesn´t involve Sookie.
I don´t care for the Tommy plot, I would much rather see Sam in Merlotte´s.
Now I'm not someone to dislike anything True Blood, but this episode disappointed me. (Except the Eric/Sookie scenes of course) It had too much Arlene and Terry (anyone else Ew when they were having sex? Yeah, I did.) But some good things came from this episode, for example I love Sam & Tommy's brotherly friendship, which is strange as they dumped bodies together, but hey how else are they going to bond? Oh, and I was thinking through it "A swamp? Not a good place to hide some bodies (Not that I'd know) and when they started floating I was laughing, but then King Sam was like MARSHMELLOWS and bam bodies go bye. Amazing. I loved Jason's sex dream! Oh my god I was laughing and shielding my eyes then laughed so hard when Hoyt was ontop. Oh my lordddy, but the only problem was I was too busy chuckling to myself to hear what Eric said to Sookie so I had to rewind! But still such a good scene. But, I have to take my hat off to Bill (if I had a hat on) he was very good in this episode! I was proud of him, being King has brought him out into a new light for me and I'm starting to really like him. Oh and the beekeeper line floored me! I was laughing SO HARD. Oh! And Pam selling out her maker? WTF. I'd be like "Yeah he's in his house" and when they go look say "oh no, he must have escaped" yeah smart move sending him to Sookie's. Oh, and the other sheriff's? There was one who was really young, well looked young. I hope he isn't. Anyway, okay episode. I said it disappointed me but from I've written I'm starting to think it was as bad as I thought. Oh! And Sookie looked very sunshine-y? In her yellow dress. Loved it!
IMO the remaining sheriffs of Lousiana were pretty disappointing. I guess I could describe them as ordinary, none of them could hold a candle to Eric. And at least two of them are older than Bill, it was silly to see them so meek and obedient.
Not sure why Sookie needed to be told off? I know that Tara went through a lot and her behaviour is justified but she's irritating me more and more. And please, she kept on lying to the girlfriend she supposedly loves and calls Sookie a hypocrite?
I think Alcide might replace Quinn altogether, and frankly I wouldn't mind. The show doesn't need another alpha male were and besides that I hated the tiger in the books.
Sigh. I fear you are probably right...it may be necessary to merge those two characters. Given that the books and the show are growing further and further apart it's likely that Alcide won't go the same route he did in the books. (Hope I'm not too confusing..trying not to spoil the books...or start ranting. :-D )

NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteUgh. WAAAAY too many subplots going on right now. Very disapointing ep. By time it finally felt it was going somewhere, it was over.
ReplyDeletewasn't it called Me and The Devil?

Jason is great, always liked him. :-)
I get a kick out of how good a guy Terry is. He's a bit of a dim bulb but he's got a good heart.
