Can't say I was impressed either. It was another okay episode, like most of the episodes since its return. There were some fun moments and also some really good episodes but it wasn't able to reach its old glory yet and slowly I'm getting a bit hopeless it will. One if its strongest points in the past was that it had some kind of mythology with providing a reason for Fry's journey into the future, but that has all been revealed (at least I can't see anything else related to this topic coming up) and the stand-alone episodes aren't as good as they used to be most of the time. Sad thing that the 3 animated shows I kind of grew up with (Simpsons, Futurama & South Park) all have passed their prime.
I thought last season was decent but the first three episodes they've aired this season have been bad enough that I'm seriously considering dropping the show altogether.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Well, Futurama's not gonna get any better..
