Sad to see the Agent get killed, but he was kind of a buzzkill, looks like we're gonna get a new, maybe more equipped handler for the team. I am really loving this show so far!
I've seen episode one, and even though I enjoyed I wasn't totally sold... Should I continue based on what people have made of the next couple of episodes??
I think this episode sealed the show's fate to me. It felt very repetitive, and the CSI-like FX do very little for me
It's good, but not great. Fairly predictable , but fairly entertaining. No over-arching plot progression as of yet and none of the characters are interesting enough to me to actually want to tune in if it's just about the agents and a FOTW.. Mostly Gary continues to be annoying to me more than charming.
It's odd, my sister has done in-home care for autistic and other mentally challenged kids/adults for more than decade and I never was annoyed by any of them like I am with Gary.. Sure, they may have been hard to deal with at times, but Gary seems to be my kryptonite.
I may catch up on it some other time, but it just doesn't do enough for me to watch it weekly..
I didn't like it at all-- it felt more like a follow-up to the pilot than an episode 3...in episode 2 I was wondering about the new handler and now I know why. I wonder when/if they really did change the episode order and if this is going to be a regular thing...
This was a decent episode but the continuing lack of mythology or serialization and the sparse character content and development is frustrating. I'm much more interested in the people than the case-of-the-week. The structure of the show isn't helping me out much in that regard.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
I loved it! Gary continues to be adorable and one of my favorite characters. The rage issues were pretty interesting.

ReplyDeleteThe special effects for the violent acts were impressive.

ReplyDeleteYes you should, I know you have a full plate as it is, but this is literally the best new show I've seen in a while, tonight's ep was phenomenal.
ReplyDeleteIt was like something out of a stephen king novel.
ReplyDeletei hope they include spoilers for the show ... im intrigued by the larger mythology being hinted at in all the previous episodes

I hope they explore that mythology as well! That is the most interesting aspect of the series to me by far!
