Pan Am - Casting News - Mike Vogel gets leading role

Thanks to ilenya for the heads up.

Mike Vogel has been cast in a leading role on ABC's fall drama Pan Am, Deadline reports.

Vogel, whose credits include the film Blue Valentine and CBS' short-lived series Miami Medical, will play Dean, the charismatic captain of Pan Am's new aircraft, the Majestic. Vogel replaces Jonah Lotan, who appeared in the pilot.

    I find series changes post- first pilot very interesting because you never know how it would have been different unless you have the unaired pilot

    Another Miami Medical refugee.  It seems that the bulk of that cast has been hired for other shows already.
