    This show has been a toss up for me, but after these promos I'm leaning definitely to the skip it side.  Zooey Deschanel is not quirky and lovable enough for me to sit through that.  I'll wait until a reliable friend tells me I need to watch it or until after major critics start raving.

    I plan on watching this show but the premise is a bit far-fetched for me.

    "I've got to work on my game."  Really, Zooey Deschanel?  I don't think so.  Most guys are willing to put up with an awful lot with a girl like that.  The fact that that they're trying to make it seem she has to make a dedicated effort to drastically improve herself to find a decent guy is total crap.

    Dude, it's just a show. You're not supposed to psychoanalyze it so much nor write a paper on Deschanel's game, just sit back, have a laugh and enjoy your life a bit :)

    There's no psychoanalytics here.  Just a glaring lapse in logic due to bad writing.

    Instead of lowering my standards, maybe people like yourself should be raising theirs.  It's attitudes like this that allow networks to make hit television shows out of crap like CSI Miami and Two and a Half Men.
