We've just added another little feature to the site which I hope you will find useful. We're just trialling it currently and wanted to see what people thought of it.
Ok, so what does it do.
Well basically it allows you to select a piece of text on an article, maybe a Character name, or Actors name or whatever. Once selected you'll see a little popup appear. Hover over that popup and you'll be presented with a wealth of information on the item you've selected.
This is best illustrated with an example.
Let's say I was reading Adam's article on the Emmy's and whilst reading I saw and actors name that I did not recognise or had forgotten what show they were in.
All I need to do is to highlight their name.

You'll then notice a new little Icon appear

All you then have to do is to click that icon. You then get a nice little Information popup that lets you explore more about the item your interested in.

Let us know what you think in the comments as well as if you have any questions/problems etc.

Just clicked on Emmy's and wow there's a lot of info you can get through this. Awesome! Then I can stop going to imdb to figure out who these guest stars are.
ReplyDeleteHa yes, that's exactly one of the reasons I added it. I was constantly forgetting who was where and when.
ReplyDeleteLet's hope others find it useful :)
Great idea! I will use this a lot I'm sure......
ReplyDeleteI just hope it doesn't confuse/annoy me when I copy names I don't know the spelling of to past in my own post. I may actually have to start looking and typing those names out on my own! *gasp*
Awesome! :D
