As long as I don't have to listen to the daughter I'm in. The cases are awesome but the family life annoys. Maybe the court appointed social worker can recommend she go live with her dad.
The pilot has to be awesome to get the show made, then they have to take a step down or else where is there to build from? Very few shows start awesome and keep pushing, and especially not those that are (roughly) based on a true story. I completely agree the family stuff needs reconsidering, but personally loving the sub-plot with the trainer! Lol.
Actually I like this episode (1.03) better than the pilot. This case rocked, there was good continuity and quite frankly, I may just develop a crush on trainer Matt. He was that spot on tonight. Dr. Dani was quirky and frustrated and scared and human. In short, she rocked this episode. Most importantly, I only wanted to shoot the daughter once tonight. That's a record. For me whether I continue watching will be determined by how much of the daughter I can take. She's an absolute brat of whom I have no sympathy even though she is going through a very difficult time. If they tone her down, I will be a loyal viewer. If they don't, I have plenty of other TV shows to dive into.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeleteThis already looks better than episode 2, which was a bit of a letdown from the pilot.
