Diamond will play a confident CBI supervising agent who runs a tight ship. As we previously reported, Diamond's character will lead a group of agents assisting Lisbon (Robin Tunney) and her team with the investigation of a personal trainer's murder. Something tells us the CBI may not be big enough for both teams.

If only I liked this show. I love Reed Diamond!
ReplyDeleteIt seems that they approach you fight in the CBI, between both equipments., between both teams.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the Bosco storyline.
ReplyDeleteBut it sounds interesting. Maybe he has angry "sparks" with Lisbon LOL.
Wait, isn't he on Franklin and Bash? What does that mean for that show? Please don't cancel it, TNT!
ReplyDeleteThe shows don't film at the same time of year. There's no schedule conflict. You can relax. Franklin & Bash's ratings aren't bad enough to get canceled. Yet.
ReplyDeleteOkay, good! Thanks. And it better not get cancelled. I love Franklin and Bash.
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of that .. His character sounds interesting.
ReplyDelete...and then it's revealed that Lisbon's been in love with him and... Oh wait. That already happened.
ReplyDeleteAs someone else said, this sounds similar to the Bosco story arc. But if Lisbon and this new guy developed something, then I think that'd be interesting. She never had a romantic relationship on this show (nothing happened, or could happen, with Bosco and that other guy was just a fling), so maybe it's time the writers give her one.
EVERYBODY! This is a ONE EPISODE, CASE SPECIFIC GUEST STAR. There will be no love interests, and no 'ARC.'
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind seeing him in more than one episode! I'm a [big] Jisbon fan, but I wouldn't want them to get together so soon, so I think it would be great if Lisbon had a love interest this season (it would create tension, maybe lol).
ReplyDeleteIf something is meant to happen between her and Reed's character, I *hope* it won't be another Mashburn/one-night-stand story line. Lisbon deserves much more than that. We know she's got issues, but come on!
OH JESUS REALLY KID?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteCalm down. I'm well aware of this. I'm simply saying it'd be awesome if they gave Lisbon a love interest for a change.
I know it was in reply to you, but my comment was meant for everyone.
ReplyDeleteAlready i'm seeing people saying stuff like "This is exactly the same as
the Bosco arc!" and "retreading old storylines from S2!" before anyone
has actually seen it.
As for the Lisbon love interest thing, i agree it'd be nice for her to have one.
Oh, and don't call me KID, i'm not a kid.
Why reply to me when the bulk of your comment wasn't directed towards me?
ReplyDeleteI equate raping the caps lock key with a kid having a shit-fit. But if you're not a kid, my mistake.
The summary does make it sound like the Bosco story arc, regardless: tough as nails police guy with his team, working alongside Lisbon's team, overly starched shirt, pole up ass, etc., etc. I know it will differ, of course, but the summary makes it sound similar (that doesn't make me concerned, mind you, I was simply pointing it out). And let's be honest, The Mentalist isn't the most original when it comes to story lines; like shows of its ilk, it will repeat certain plot points over and over. This is to be expected and not always a bad thing. So I believe there's legitimacy in people's concerns, even if I don't particularly share them, and if they want to complain about it, who cares? We'll all be set straight soon enough.
maybe something will happen lisbon and him hehe ;)
