It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
As previously reported Rob McElhenney gained 50 pounds this season to make his role funnier. Here's a set photo of him showing off his extra pounds:

Now that's a Big Mac.

Emmys usually snob It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but next year, they won't be able to — big awards shows love it when actors gain weight for a role (and 50 pounds, come on, that's Emmy-worthy).
I just watched episode 5.11 this morning, and I'm so glad to realize the show is back at its best level since episode 5.07. Sunny has never been bad, of course, but there were some average episodes more often in season 4 and the first half of season 5 than before. Now, it's back to hilarious every single time.
Season 5 was the weakest season yet imo. Season 4 also had some weaker episodes but had some of the best one's in the show's history. Mac and Dennis: Manhunters or The Gang Solves The Gas Crisis were incredibly awesome. But for me s6 was the best since s3.
ReplyDeleteSeason 6 was by far the weakest.
ReplyDeleteThe funniest moment for me out of all the seasons was when Cricket was smoking a bowl in the hospital while Sweet Dee was giving birth in S6 finale. I don't know why I found that so funny, but laugh every time I think about it.
ReplyDeleteBig Mac!
ReplyDeleteHoly crap. I can't believe he went through with it. I'm sure his wife is thrilled.
ReplyDeleteOH. MY. GOD. lol
ReplyDeleteWith some grey hair dye and a part in his hair, Rob could look exactly like Kenny Rogers.
