Speaking of pregnancies, news broke yesterday that Sarah Drew is expecting. Is it too soon to say whether that's being written into the story, especially because her character is a virgin? Or will she do pre-shoots like Ellen and Jessica Capshaw did?

Rhimes: April Kepner is a virgin and we'd have to work really fast to get April unvirginized, pregnant and having a baby by January. That feels a little insane, so I don't think we want to speed that story up. We're quite good at hiding things like that, so we'll do what we always do.

    I'm glad they aren't writing it in. They've had good experience - Chyler, Ellen, and Jessica. And LOL at the fourth pregnancy in four seasons on this show!

    I kinda want a season 9 just to see who gets knocked up next.

    They didn't even try to hide Chyler's pregnancy.  They just decided she'd be a stress-eater who got fat.

     well they've hidden chyler, ellen, and jessica's pregnancies. and they're characters are all alive and kicking, so i highly doubt they'll kill her.

    I think what she meant was, Chyler was pregnant for real but the show didn't try to hide her belly they instead made her appear like a stress-eater and got fat (for explanation of the baby bump)
