Hey Guys,
Some interesting news from a John Noble interview is that he has said that he believes the show will go on for another couple of years, and finish after season 5...
There's a short excerpt of the interview below:
"When we first joined the show, JJ Abrams said that he thought it was a six-year show, but that's like saying you're going to climb Mount Everest. It's very hard to even [get a show] on, let alone to do six years."
Noble, who plays Walter Bishop, went on to say that while he expects Fringe to run for five years, he would be "surprised" if the show continued beyond that point.
"Six [years] is a very long time," he said. "But if we don't maintain the level of our production and our stories this [fourth] year, then there won't [even] be another year."

I Really really REALLY hope SO !!! :)))
ReplyDeleteThat's optimistic. I would wait until at least November to say that.
ReplyDelete5 is a good number, i hope they do make it to the 5th!!!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mr. Noble. It seems like the story is not consistent so if this season they won't change their aptitude, they won't get even that 5th season. But I hope for the best :)
ReplyDeleteLets hope season 5 will be a 'restart' and bring in more viewers. Season 4 was great but did leave a few loose threads. Hopefully this problem is cleared up. A Sixth season would be fantastic But that's beyond the power of mere mortals to see from this point.
ReplyDeleteAre you a wizard?
ReplyDelete1.) We are on season 4 now, not 5.
ReplyDelete2.) Of course their are loose threads, it was a season finale not a series finale.
I meant when Tim declared war on the Shape Shifters. That happened a ways back and didn't go a whole lot further.
ReplyDeleteHe's more optimistic that I am but I sincerely hope I'm dead wrong.
ReplyDeleteThat would be nice lol, but... We're going to need to improve the ratings by 150%-200% or something. Jump from 1.3 up to 2.0 and a 3.5 million to 6 million.
