Badgeville - Fringe Badges Now Created!

Update: 28th July The badges are now created and ready for you to collect. For the more technical stuff and for any technical issues you have with them, head HERE but I figured this would be a good place to discuss the actual badges and how your doing in terms of collecting the badges on a more show specific level. Enjoy them :D

A small taster for you, the level 1 badge is William Bell:


Time to start collecting!

Hey Fringe Fans,

We're beginning to progress further with the Badgeville badges, and Fringe is to be our next go at creating a show specific badge, where you score points and badges for engaging in posts that are solely Fringe based. This follows from the Supernatural badges we launched today..

Of course we need to design the badges for this, and seeing as you as fans are quite opinionated on who is a great character and who is not, we thought we'd let you pick the faces that will be on the badges.

It's worthy of note that Olivia, Peter & Walter should be the top three badges, so there is a separate poll to decide the order of badges level 8-10... you can vote for one of those characters

All you need to do for the rest of the characters you feel are most worthy of a place on the seven remaining badges... You can select up to 5 characters... I've included all the important multi-episode characters I can think of but if there's someone else you want to nominate, stick him in the other option :D The top seven nominations will appear on the badges in that rank order!

Remember to vote for one of the main three characters and 5 of the others, and whilst your at it you can comment below on who you chose and why...

    I voted Broyles, Charlie Francis, The Observer, Thomas Jerome Newton and Sam Weiss... a good mix of cast members, although I would've liked to pick Astrid as well...

    I think Olivia should be the top badge, then Walter, then Peter, even though Walter is my favorite. :) I'm surprised more people don't think so! Also I think Astrid, Broyles, and Nina should be givens. I voted Charlie and Lincoln as the last two, although William Bell, The Observer, Sam Weiss, Gene, and Mr. Papaya are all great contenders.

    Spoiler TV readers:

    Gene didn't make it on the list.  If you want to see Gene on a badge you have to write Gene in the "Other" box.

    Only 2 people have voted "other" so far, so if you're serious about this you have to make sure to write that cow in.

    So you're saying hold off hopes on getting a Fiona badge from Burn Notice.  I'm not sure why I'm excited about these badges when I don't participate in this stuff on other sites.  Not that I haven't always commented a lot because I have.  It's just more fun with points.

    By the way, just finished Peter in my quest to rewatch Fringe season 2.  I really liked that angle and can't wait to see how it unfolds in season 3.  When are the season 3 Fringe DVD's being released?

    @Dahne1:disqus This site seems to have all the Season 3 episodes listed in a few different ways to watch or formats.  I tried a few different episodes and they did play (DivXden FLV or AVI) , but a few others were 404'd. ... including episode 3.01.

    I have never used it since I use my PC as DVR and archive until DVDs are released. 

    Hope that helps. Good luck finding a streaming source for the rest.
