Firefly star Jewel Staite tweeted that she is going to be in Toronto for a couple of months filming a TV series that she is not allowed to talk about.


After checking up the Toronto filming schedule possible matches are listed below however the "Lost Girl" producers are known to be being especially "secretive" and restrictive of what the cast is allowed to say.



"COVERT AFFAIRS", Season 2, TV Series, Mar. 14 – Oct. 17/11

"TRANSPORTER", TV Series, July 4 – Nov. 21/11

"DEGRASSI: The Next Generation", Season 11, TV Series, Mar. 14 – Nov. 18/10

"BEING ERICA", Season 4, TV Series, May 16 /11 - TBA

"FLASHPOINT", Season 4, TV Series, Feb. 14 – Sept. 15/11

"LOST GIRL", Season 2, TV Series, May 9 –TBA

"BOMB GIRL" mini series
UPDATE: "Nikita" season 2 will also be filming in Toronto thanks to Julia for the headsup!

    Ooh, I hope it's Covert Affairs!

    Also, I had no clues shows shot in Toronto. I always assumed they usually only filmed in Vancouver.

    i would guess  Lost Girl, Transporter and Covert Affairs are the most likely options

    Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal are the 3 main cities that get filmed in Canada. I've been an extra in a show that was filmed in Torornto

    oh yeah very good point julia it wasnt listed on the Toronto site i looked at but Nikita does film in Toronto and is very possible

    It can also be Falling Skies or Degrassi (joke), but I put my money on Bomb Girls (a 6 parts mini-series is perfect for 2 months)

    I don't know where will be filmed Saving Hope (the medical drama of Erica Durance)

    I  hope it's NOT Flashpoint or Degrassi..... 

    All the other series I watch or could handle watching for her run of episodes.

    Out of those seven, I don't watch Being Erica, Degrassi, or Flashpoint so there's a 57% chance she'll pop up in a show I watch.  I like those odds.
