In the desperate search for Melody Pond, the TARDIS crash lands in 1930s Berlin, bringing the Doctor face to face with the greatest war criminal in the Universe. And Hitler. The Doctor must teach his adversaries that time travel has responsibilities – and in so doing, learns a harsh lesson in the cruellest warfare of all.

    I'm guessing that the greatest war criminal in the universe is either River/Melody or The Doctor himself.

    Be careful not to read too deep into it. They could genuinely be referring to Hitler himself rather than anyone else

    Not the way it's worded. It says "the greatest war criminal in the universe. AND Hitler." The and automatically discards him as said initial war criminal.

    oooooo maybe the harsh lesson the doctor learns about warfare is maybe amy getting hurt in battle or taken or whatever. like, the harsh lesson in the cruellest warfare would be using the doctor's friends and people he loves and yeah. lol,i hope it goes somefin like that :)
