CSI - Still Casting for the Lab's Next Investigator

The producers of CSI are still hunting for the lab’s next investigator, but executive producer Carol Mendelsohn is said to have drawn up a character who is a bit more lighthearted than Laurence Fishburne’s Ray Langston [and more in the vein of Gil Grissom]. CBS is expected to find someone with seasoned TV chops.

    Godammit, get Grissom back. Does the producers of the show need a damm brick trowed in their damm forhead to understand that?

    they wanted him to be back but HE didn't want to... But maybe we'll have good surprise next season : who knows ?

    Personally I loved the darkness of Fishburne and of Schreiber and preferred them to some light-hearted comic type.

    I want them to bring Liz back! I miss Wendy, and I loved her and Hodges.

    (Of course, I would also love William Petersen to come back as well)
