Jere Burns, from TV's Justified, Breaking Bad and Surviving Suburbia, has been cast in a recurring role on Burn Notice according to Deadline Hollywood. He will play a psychologist with experience in covert operations who helps Michael with questions about being burned. Unfortunately, his wife is kidnapped forcing him on the other side of the law. Burns will be in 5-7 episodes this season and possibly in next season too.

ReplyDeleteI recognize this actor but don't know his work. Sounds like he is a big part of the second half of the season's plot with the missing codes. Right up their alley.
ReplyDeleteBurn Notice is know for having these type of actors come in and play a recurring role that is bad and yet Michael still uses there help (ex. Carla, Strickler, Gilroy, Vaughn. It will be interesting to see what kind of character he is going to be.
ReplyDeleteI got the feeling that he started as a somewhat good character and then makes a hard choice because his wife is kidnapped. Although who knows? Maybe the twist is that he is evil from the start. That certainly wouldn't be unusual on Burn Notice.
