Bomb Girls - New Synopsis
31 Jul 2011
Cancelled ShowsThe men are scarce. The women are taking over the city. This is not 2011. It’s 1942. Hitler’s bombed out most of Britain’s munitions plants and the North American allies have to step in to build lean and mean bomb making factories with women at the helm. Spotlighting today’s sexuality, conventions and politics through the lens of another time, the series’riveting soap stories are set in a fascinating historical context and track the truth of how the women carve out their new found freedoms. While their freedom offers thrills, it comes with the price of possible mistakes, greater responsibility and danger. With social restrictions still ruling the day, many of their battles and stories are launched in secrecy and achieved through bold maneuvers.

Still doesn't sound all that interesting to me! And LOL, I'm a history major, so that's sad.
ReplyDeletewhat is this show? I don't find war to be really interesting
ReplyDeleteit seems like its trying to be the female canadian mad men
ReplyDeleteThanks for the explanation...I still don't know about it though especially since it is set during WWII
ReplyDeleteYeah, that synopsis is not much better than the previous one... maybe worse....
ReplyDeleteI will still check it out in all likelihood though because it's something different and not a cop procedural.
