Sounds interesting. I tend to like WW2 home stories and I haven't heard as many from the Canadian point of view. I'll check this out when it hits the US.
Every time I see an article posted for "Bomb Girls" I get it confused with the "Bomb Queen" comic book and falsely believe they're adapting it to TV in Canada.
I have GOT to stop doing that. Every time I realize my mistake It's a big buzzkill.
Wow this has some serious connection to some awesome TV series! Pillars of the Earth and Durham County are two of the better series of the past decade in my opinion.
The premise sounds interesting and different which is saying a lot these days! Any time you can avoid a procedural cop series that pairs a cop with a writer, or a ex-psychic or socially awkward scientist it's a good thing!
That said, from what I know of the 3 actresses (I watched the first 2 in multiple series) they were all the lightweights acting on their past series (acting wise). This could be a great opportunity for them to break out into more serious drama.....
Well the press release had me at "Durham County" and "Pillars", but I'm still a bit dubious with the 3 stars listed.
What's your source ? because they got tickets from CTV for a So you think tou can dance Canada episode, and Bomb Girls is a Global show. Also they tweet and made fun about the rumor while they can't talk about this.
I was thinking maybe it's Saving Hope the new sectet show.
Hello everyone! The casting specified in this post is all rumor. We here at Back Alley Film Productions haven't actually cast anyone yet. Feel free to tune into our twitter page for the latest updates on the show. Cheers, The Bomb Girls Team

Ah, so this is the show! Doesn't sound all that interesting to me.

Firefly was awesome, but they really should start adding Stargate Atlantis to Jewel's list as well.

That's true! I don't think I've seen any WWII stories told from the Canadian perspective....
