Weeds - Michelle Trachtenberg to Guest Star in Multiple Episodes

Everyone's favorite TV troublemaker, Michelle Trachtenberg, is set to cause some serious trouble for Nancy Botwin on 'Weeds' this season.

Like Mary Kate Olsen before her, Trachtenberg will play a pot dealer on the Showtime series -- but her character will be one of Nancy's rivals, not one of her coworkers. Look for the actress also known as Georgina Sparks to pop up in two episodes this season.

    I think Trachtenberg is becoming the go-to young, female, pain in the ass for casting directors.

    I was not a fan when she popped in as Buffy's mystical sister, but she won me over and has grown a pretty good resume for a young actress. Not Emmy or Oscar quality projects, but she's certainly good at what she does.

    I hear ya.  She's a competent capable actress who isn't hired just because she's attractive and literate.  (that happens way too often, IMO)

    Agreed. 
    She needs to fight for that one 'perfect' role that will be an award nominated series. One critically acclaimed movie and role like that can be all it takes.
