David Mazouz has been cast opposite Kiefer Sutherland in Fox’s likely midseason entry Touch.
The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Mazouz will play Jake, Sutherland’s autistic and mute son who can predict events before they happen. He also serves as the narrator for the series.

*Cast not casted
ReplyDeleteI am still wondering about this show... I mean...it's from Tim Kring... So if it fails, it's gonna fail hard.
ReplyDeleteAgreed and yet all of the buzz has gone on about how it is THE BEST written of the new pilot scripts. Either this year's shows will all suck majorly, or Tim Kring found his muse a la Heroes S1.
ReplyDeleteHeroes had a great first season... it's still the best first season of a show I have seen... So, assuming whatever went wrong after that first season was things that Tim Kring could no longer control (like he wanted to change the cast, but wasn't allowed to), and considering Kiefer Sutherland in the lead, I am expecting something awesome from this show... Hope it wont settle in as another procedural...
ReplyDeleteoh, did not know about that... I had heard that Person Of Interest was the best tested show in 10 years or something, but that is after the pilot was show (and I'm pretty sure it was for just that one network, CBS)... still... waiting for more details on Touch, I am surely gonna watch it...
ReplyDeleteWell again, the pilot hasn't even been shot so it can't have been
ReplyDeletetested in front of an audience or anything. I hadn't heard that about
Person of Interest, but I find that exciting (whether or not it's
amongst all networks or simply within CBS... Seeing as how CBS has the
most watched shows on TV). I read the info about Touch on several
different entertainment sites. Not only that, the fact that their
shoving this show in at midseason without the pilot having been
shot... That shows confidence in the material.
LOL I read the title and I thought Kiefer had a son who is an actor too... XD
ReplyDelete"He also serves as the narrator for the series."
ReplyDeleteNarrator? Really? In a 2011 (soon to be 2012) series?
Time to break up with this ancient storytelling device.
You're not alone!
ReplyDeleteI feel better now! XDDD
ReplyDeleteIs this saying that the deaf mute boy is narrating?
ReplyDeleteHow is this possible? :L
With his inner voice.
ReplyDelete*nods* Totally not alone!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait
ReplyDeletePushing Daisies disagrees with the notion that a narrator is a bad idea in a modern day television series. I can't imagine the show without having had it.
ReplyDeleteSorry haven't seen that.
