  1. Just about to watch the repeat had to catch "The Glades" first!

  2. What a fantastic episode! While it didn't delve much into the murder, this was a great character episode. Loved the interaction beteween Linden and Holder.
While I look forward to finding out who did it, I'm sad we only have a few more episodes left :(

  3. Definitely learned a lot about Lind and Holder.  This was the crazed-calm-before-the-storm episode.  Only 2 episodes left!

  4. Great development for the Linden and Holder characters and the relationship dynamic between them. I really enjoyed seeing them go from partners who were barely tolerating each other to partners who were willing to support each other. Great job by all. Looking forward to the dash to the resolution since there are only 2 eps left.

  5. A very different episode, great for the characters. They provided us with a way to understand better and know the background of these two detectives.
Also, glad they didn't give us any Richmond material this time. Can't wait for the final two episodes.

  6. WHAT development?  It's 11 episodes in, why do we need an entire 45 minutes of character building 2 episodes from the end?  TERRIBLE

  7. Good episode but it's the wrong time for character development. The mystery should be coming to a close. Instead we get an episode that only has the 2 leads. No mention of the Larsen family or the Richmond campaign.

  8. Great character episode for sure, but I'm not quite convinced the timing is right. We should have had this episode earlier, 2 episodes before the season finale is a bit too late to be honest.
I enjoyed it nevertheless, because I'm not that fixated on the murder mystery, but I can see how people did not like it or weren't happy about such an episode.

  9. Holder cautions against looking just for black and white, and paying attention to the gray. This episode was gray, and a little too slow for fun. But there were things to be learned. Rosie used an ATM at the casino. Jack does have a connection to his father (Good. He should stay with his dad). We get an answer to Regi's connection to Sarah (she's her social worker). Jack as a suspect is pretty much ruled out, and it doesn't seem that Rick can be seriously considered anymore, as there would have been more information about him introduced by this point). As we learn more about the backgrounds of both Linden and Holder, they seem even more like two peas of the same pod, and there are hints of a serious relationship about to develop. We're getting set up for next season.

  10. I like the strong emphasis on characters, so I enjoyed this episode.  I'm less invested in the mystery than in the characters. It's funny, but I'm always tired and ready to go to bed before this show starts, and then I perk right up once it starts and we get into the drama.  That's a sign of a well-written show, because I've been falling asleep during a lot of the shows on lately.

  11. Very good episode to me. I didn't feel like it was a one off character episode and not related to the case like many did. IT started and ended with Linden trying to track Rosie at the Casino and the middle was about a mother's pain and worry over her missing child...  It showed through Sarah how a "missing" child affects someone and related to the Rosie Larsen case in that way. Plus, we don't know just yet that some seemingly innocuous detail brought up in this episode will not become very important to the case against the real killer.

  12. This reminds me of the episode "Fly" in the last season of Breaking Bad, the topic was more serious than a fly, but the atmosphere of the episode was similar, like "the lull before the storm".
