    That was way more satisfying then I ever expected it to be, many questions answered... and not really all that much cliff hanger. Although WTF was with the promo for the second half of the series.

    I thought they gave away the big reveal a bit early, and it's pretty much what we all guessed but still exciting.

    On a side note, the Doctor really shouldn't be making out with a girl he raised since she was a child... it's kind of creepy.

    I know right - I am actually in love with Steven Moffat a little bit. It's like we just loaded a whole bunch of information onto you that you are going to need 3 months of actually digest and then BAM let's kill Hitler. It's Moffat trying to make sure everyone doesn't hate him for the hiatus.

    I'd guessed River was Amy's daughter a long while back. Then again, I had several theories, but that was the main one.

    The best thing about this episode - other than the wonderful acting by all involved - was Madame Vastra and Jenny! Victorian lesbian crimefighting duo! Already found a Facebook Page campaining for their own spin-off! xD

    There'll be no Hitler. :(

    It's a reference to the fact that if you went back in time and killed Hitler, WWII would never happen, and we would never have learned from our mistakes. Therefor, something much worse could happen.

    The Doctor faces this problem with the baby. If he brings her back to Amy, he changes everything, and River as we know her no longer exists.

    The River thing was fairly predictable, although the badass Rory scenes were still quite awesome. Several very, very good lines that made me just crack up, and the facial expressions! Especially the Doctor's upon realizing that the only time when Melody could have been possibly conceived was on the wedding night (in bunk beds nonetheless!). I also liked the resolution of 'The only water in the forest is a river" line, and I feel so bad for the "fat one" and the merchant! Although, the merchant probably would have been useless in battle anyways. So, what do you want to bet that the theft of Melody Pond was the reason that war started, and that the blame is on the bad guys, not the Doctor? But then again, they couldn't have known that they were poking a sleeping dragon by irritating the Doctor before he even knew of them. I also loved the scene where all the allies popped in from all over the place! That was rather epic, and I'm afraid I did a horrible seal impression.

    It seems Moffat is going the Lost route with his mindgames and cliffhangers. I'm loving it, I'm hanging on the edge of my seat. But... I also was a fan of  Russell T Davies' way of bringing every plotpoint together, confirming it with canon, so I hope Moffat doesn't wibbly wobbly time-y wimey the plot into the mess "Heroes" became...

    Loved how the title not only describes the Doctor but Rory as well. As different as they are it's uncanny how similar they are too.  One the biggest being how scary they can be when you threaten those they love :)

    I didn't like it.  The River review was underwelming.  The set her up in Series 4 and with the truth of her identity, they couldn't possibly have set that up back in 4.  Seemed rushed, as if Moffat needed to pay off that piece of the story but couldn't figure out how to do it, so just threw it in there at the end.

    Well I thought that the title couldn't be that literal too, but the fact that the story takes place in Nazi Germany leads me to think that maybe I was wrong...
