Makes sense. I was already kind of afraid they would try to stretch out the story of the book for 6 seasons which would have been incredibly boring. The book just doesn't offer enough stories for so many episodes. But Gaiman seems to have enough stories in his mind, after all he even briefly mentioned the idea of a second American Gods book in the second interview.
I haven't read the book yet, but I was worried about the stretching of the material too from the first reports. This sounds like a much better idea! I like this guy too. Good interview.
Agreed. I thought stretching one book into 6 seasons was weird... Especially since HBO has no plans to stretch longer Game of Thrones books into longer seasons *coughs* only10episodeseason2gate *coughs*. I was excited about this (the book has been staring at me for months from the top of my to read pile), but am now more excited.
I'm still sceptical about this extremely early 6 season talk, but at least there should be a great amount of plot lines to follow. Let's hope they'll get the time to tell them all.
Sidenote: It's nice to be ahead of you two with a book for a change.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
