  1. So Bones is getting a shortened season. I wished they had started filming a little earlier to get more in, but I can deal with this. I'm just so excited for Baby Girl Brennan-Booth!

And the HIMYM spoilers are also interesting. And I can't wait for that and SPN, too.

  2. Jim Beaver appeared in 14 episodes of S6. And he's not a 'regular'. There's no reason to suppose Misha will be in fewer episodes than he was in S6 just because he's no longer a 'regular'. Sorry but I don't get why people are complaining.

  3. Neither do I.  I think they are under impression, because Misha is no longer a regular that he will not be on the series at all.  That isn't the idea I have been getting from Sera.  She mentioned something about continuing the angel storyline, so I just think it is more of cost cutting move then anything else.  Like Jim, Misha will be paid on a per episode basis rather then for the whole season.

  4. I think people are misunderstanding why Collins was downgraded to recurring.  It's not because of he's fallen out of favor or they've lost interest.  He's going to be in fewer episodes because of the nature of his character.

You have to think of Misha Collins' Castiel like Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer.  He's the new, big, pants-crappingly scary bad guy.  He can't be showing up every episode.  That would dilute the stature and the imposing nature of Collins' character.  Because of what Castiel has become, his scenes have to carry more weight and be more dramatic and those scenes won't be nearly as effective if he's around all the time.

Once the Cas-is-God story is over with, he'll probably be around as much as he used to be.

  5. White Collar - episode sounds very intricate in plot.  I like that.

Supernatural - I am very, very happy to hear they are concentrating on the story instead of the fandom.  It takes guts to do that and Supernatural has never lacked guts.

  7. I'm glad to hear that United State of Tara will have a satisfying ending (supposedly).

  8. I think people - me included - are more worried about him getting killed off completely what with Ausiello's "six feet under" blind item. Also - from what the comments to the article mention - Misha was told that Castiel would be killed by the end of S6 (which didn't happen - yet!). And there was the rumor - which, so far, proved to be quite accurate - that Misha would be in 701 only. Nowhere was it mentioned that he was becoming recurring and NOT getting killed off, which is why peep's are so in arms about it. I wouldn't mind him becoming recurring, I just don't want to lose the character completely.

  9. l I have made no Bones about the fact (excuse the pun) lol that while I have liked Cas up to a point the show does really need to get back to the brothers . They have struggled to include Cas this last season so a reduced role is not surprising. I dont need the character in the show but do realize  others do like him so I hope the show finds a happy medium.

  10. Thank you, I couldn't have said it better myself! The "explosion" over Misha's status I'm positive will be for naught when the new season starts. I was grinning like a fangirl when I read Sera wanted to continue the show's storyline and make it interesting and evolving over giving into  panic mentality. I for one will support the show and do my hardest to get more people to watch.

  11. I think we'd have to break out psychology and dissect anonymous internet culture and fandoms to figure out why people are complaining - and I don't want to go there ;) I'm just happy we get a S7 and that the writers are sticking to their guns.

  12. I agree that the writers need to stay focused on telling the best story they can, and not make concessions to please certain fan groups.  The thing is, if they end up trying to please one group, they end up ticking off another.  The whole Lisa/Ben storyline is an example of the writers keeping characters around long after their story was finished to quiet certain fans.  With that said, though, I loved Cas before, but he became 100% even more interesting in the last few episodes.  And not as God, as a loose cannon who can be dangerous and who has become disillusioned with his relationship with Dean.  I don't expect the souls power to stay in him long, but he could still liven things up after he's diffused, and he still has those Heaven's nukes in his possession.

  13. No! Less of episodes of bones... that's pure torture!
