  4. Congratulations to John! Well deserved, long over due and hopefully the first of many more to come.
Saturn Awards Thursday (5 nominations), 2011 Portal Awards starting Saturday where fans can vote once a day for 30 days (7nominations) and can I dream for some Emmy's as well?
    Fringe Rocks!

  6. It must be some kind of parallel universe, where Fringe actually gets well-deserved awards. Congrats !

I'm glad John Noble won because all the other results were Emmy-like. I'm sorry, but having Modern Family, Tina Fey, Neil Patrick Harris and Jim Parsons winning when the ceremony had such a wide range of unnoticed comedies and actors from underdog shows (Community, Parks and Recreation, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Louie, Archer) nominated is just disappointing. These 4 winners are all wonderful but I thought there was room for other shows here, and it looks like there isn't.

Same for the drama category. Of course Mad Men, Jon Hamm and Julianna Margulies are great but didn't the big award shows tell us that already ? Being at the Critics' choice awards made me think the results would be different, given all the unusual nominees (FNL, Fringe, Justified) but the results end up the same.

The only positive surprises are in the best supporting actor/actress categories, since John Noble won, and Margo Martingale (Justified) won as well (tied with Christina Hendricks, but still).
