FOX updates its summer schedule with a new time period for MASTERCHEF on Mondays, the two-night season premiere of HELL’S KITCHEN and the debut of new unscripted treasure-hunting series BURIED TREASURE.
On the second season of hit culinary competition series MASTERCHEF, America’s best amateur cooks from all walks of life will compete for the coveted white apron two nights a week: Mondays in a new time period beginning June 13 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Tuesdays (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Tuesday episodes of MASTERCHEF will move to 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT beginning July 19.
Superstar chef Gordon Ramsay throws open the doors of HELL’S KITCHEN for the series’ eighth season, beginning with a tantalizing two-night premiere Monday, July 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) and Tuesday, July 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). The series puts aspiring restaurateurs through an intense culinary academy on its regular nights as Ramsay seeks out the one chef who possesses the right combination of ingredients to win the life-changing grand prize.
BURIED TREASURE, the new unscripted series in which identical twin brothers Leigh and Leslie Keno (“Antiques Roadshow”) travel across the country to help ordinary people discover the unknown treasures in their homes, debuts on its regular night, Wednesdays starting Aug. 24 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT). The Keno brothers are modern-day treasure hunters – world-renowned antique experts and appraisers who have helped people all over the world sell more than $1 billion worth of collectibles. From one-of-a-kind comics to a 300-year-old violin, the pair will travel the country to uncover age-old mysteries and change people’s lives forever.
As previously announced, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE wraps up auditions with special two-hour episodes this week Wednesday, June 8 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Thursday, June 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Live episodes of television’s hottest dance series kick off next week beginning Wednesday, June 15 (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) and Thursday, June 16 (9:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).

In years past, I would of kept tabs on FOX's summer schedule because they had original scripted programs like Mental and The Good Guys. This year it's all reality programming and repeats.
ReplyDeleteSad isn't it :(
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, yes. None of the big networks seem to have had any success with scripted summer fare. NBC's Persons Unknown flopped, FOX's failures are listed above, and ABC was 1 for 3 last year with The Gates and Scoundrels tanking. Honestly, I think ABC got lucky with Rookie Blue. The show isn't much better than the others but people gravitated to it anyway.
ReplyDeleteIt would seem that summer is still cable TV's domain.
Wow, no Fringe? wtf? The summer would be a perfect time for people to catch up and grow an audience. American Idol should play during the summer so it doesn't interrupt all our shows.
ReplyDeleteSo the only cancelled show on the summer schedule is Lie To Me? ..Interesting.
ReplyDeleteWait. Nvm. After this week, LTM is no more in any capacity.
ReplyDeleteSo.. the show is cancelled for good I guess... :\
