ReplyDeleteNobody could read a story about fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love and miracles like him. I will miss that trenchcoat and the man who wore it so well.
ReplyDeleteHe was amazing in Wings of Desire playing a version of himself that was a former Angel. Columbo will always remind me of Sunday afternoons because there was always Mr Falk in his trenchcoat solving crimes on the tV. RIP Peter
ReplyDeleteHe brought some of my favourite characters and stories to life too, sad that he's gone.
ReplyDeleteRIP , loved u in Princess Bride, one of my favourite movies of all time, u will be missed
ReplyDeleteUsed to watch the Columbo reruns as a kid on channel 5. Loved that a genius didn't have to look like a superhero :) RIP
ReplyDeleteIt's always sad seeing another great one go. I remember seeing him for the first time years ago in the Great Race. I watched Columbo every week when it was running. Rest In Peace Peter Falk.Your talent entertained many people for years.
