The original casting of the new Female Captain that we reported here was originally for a female in her "early 40's".

The part is now being cast for a female in her "late 40's/early 50's" for the role as captain.

    Someone suggested her last time but they edited their post and removed her name for some unknown reason.  I thought she was a good suggestion so I tossed her hat back in the ring.

    Too bad, I was hoping for Elizabeth Mitchell. But it does seem like AWM is reworking his original concept for the season four opener. Doesn't look like Beckett will be spending much time in the hospital after all. So the need for a time jump won't be there either, but the fist fight sounds awesome.

    That's probably very good news for us Caskett fans - hopefully that means the new captain won't be breaking Kate and Rick apart. Unless Castle is into Cougars :-/
