  1. I need some info - I've now reached 2x04 and after disappearing in the season 1 finale and returning in season 2 Jack mentioned he found his doctor. What does he need a "doctor" for and could somebody explain the concept for doctors in this universe for me? Don't want to start watching Doctor Who too. At least not now.

  2. By doctor he means the doctor from doctor who. the doctor is the last timelord and the doctor is just a nickname.

  3. He needs the Doctor from Doctor Who. He wants to
find him because the Doctor has left him after his companion, who absorbed the
time vortex, has brought Jack back to life after Jack had been killed by Dalek, making him immortal. He
wants an explanation what he is, why he cannot die and why the Doctor avoids
him... Then when he finds him, The Doctor said that Jack was a fixed point in time and space, an impossible thing which the
Doctor had trouble even looking at and didn't even know the TARDIS tried to get
rid him. The Doctor said that he was unable to undo Jack's resurrection power
and didn't know if Jack would ever truly die. After all this Jack accepts this fact and finds out that he is no more sure if he still really wants to die.

  4. yeah that all happens in doctor who and if i were to explain more about the doctor then it would spoil doctor who for u but doctor who is great and u should totally watch it (no need to start from the very beginnin ie. the 60's, just start from the 2005 doctor who) plus it will explain a hell of a lot more bout the captain than torchwood does, for some reason they are very cryptic bout him in torchwood which is strange considerin if u've already watched doctor who, which is were the character was created.

  7. Barrowman interviewing in an American accent? I've heard this before, I never quite understood why.
