Awesome, information-packed episode. Belko is considered, then ruled out. That Mafia guy Stan met with is mentioned. Rick is back, then gone again. It seems Rosie went to meet someone at a casino. Can't imagine who did it, at this point.
Awesome episode for sure. It was nice seeing the course of the investigation going in a new direction, because it was clear the teacher didn't do it although I was sure he and/or his wife were somehow involved. Linden and Holder working together as functioning team now is great. Also great find by Holder in the video... And suddenly there is a connection to Richmond. Wondered when this will happen, because so far his connection to the case was rather superficial.
Definitely. I already said it, but I already consider anything but an Emmy for Michelle Forbes as an affront and the show has a lot of other possible nominations/wins ahead.
I was trying to find it, but couldn't right now. But as far as I remember I read it in some article where they interviewed Veena Sud. Maybe I'll be able to find it later.
If Michelle Forbes doesn't win then it proves the Emmy's are bought, but I get the feeling this show may be the one to dethrone Mad Men's Best Drama win.
I think the future episodes should move fast now and reveal a lot like this week did.. This week we learned everything we thought so far was a waste of time from the investigation stand point. Heartbreaking for Linden knowing her dogged pursuit helped lead to an innocent man being beaten to near death and a victim's father being in prison for said beating.
The connection to Richmond himself still seems tenuous to me, but his campaign advisors certainly could be involved some how. None jump out at me just yet.
For now I'm sticking with my man Callum Keith Rennie. He was my initial gut feeling and plays such a great complex bad guy. Mostly I want it to be him so h e gets more face time.
You're thinking Rick? I thought so too for a while, but he looked pretty innocent on Sunday. Still, he's anxious to get Sarah to stop her involvement in the investigation. And I'd like to know more about the previous killing Sarah was involved in. Was it solved? Was Rick involved in both?
The casino makes me think of one of Stan's gambling cronies. Could she have cleaned out the accounts on her dad's behalf, trying to clean up a debt for him?
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeletei know who did it. Would you like to know?
ReplyDeleteLoved the interogation scene! I really have know idea who did it. Awesome episode and I can 't wait until next week!
ReplyDeleteWell, they said the killer is going to someone different from the original version, so it won't be Belko who apparently did it in the original.

I don't want to know just yet, Cbazz. But they're eliminating suspects fast.
ReplyDeleteI hope Ahmed doesn't die, but I don't think they're going to let us know.
ReplyDeletefor real? where did you here this? That would be awsome if its true
ReplyDeleteSomebody else suspects of Richmond or the aunt?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing! There is something suspicious about her!
ReplyDeleteNoting how awesome the show is, can anybody feel the possible removal of Mad Men from it's firm drama emmy spot?
ReplyDeleteMy first guess is still Jamie, then Gwen. But after those two I'm starting to get a bit suspicious of her too.

ReplyDeleteNo, I saw that too, Stickoxydal and cbazz. It's definitely not Belko. I think it was in an interview with Veena Sud when she said that.
ReplyDeleteAnother great episode!
