This looks so AWESOME... more awesome as I learn more!! It's so nice when every detail you read and every video you view just increases your desire to watch a series! So rare too! Any concerns I had are gone now. I see it as a new hit for CBS.
Intriguing... Basically the most promising drama pilot on any network this season.2 great actors cast as lead, dark story, nice action scenes; don't think this can do any wrong.
I'm still not so sure about the overall storyline but Michael Emerson and Jim Caviezel's characters do look interesting. If they can keep up the quality of the action and drama, and deliver a good plot for the season, I'm in.
To be honest, the first trailer wasn't as attractive as I thoght it would be but this is definitely better than the first one. I'm looking forward to it ;)
Agreed! I was worried about it at first, but this extended preview has me sold! Caviezal really has good disposition for such a role! And of course Emerson is just always amazing!
If I'm being honest, I've got to say that this show fits in on CBS as poorly as Ringer would have but I sincerely hope that this show is a smash hit because it looks incredible. If Person of Interest is really as excellent as it looks, it's probably TOO good for CBS.
From this trailer, the show reminds me of that "Wanted" movie with the "loom/threads of fate". I can see that the show will probably take a "mystery number of the week" vibe while they layer a serialized mythology arc over it. Formulaic, sure, but with Micheal Emerson and Jim Caviezel on board, count me in for the ride.
Great basic concept, I just hope it doesn't get stuck in the Bad-Guy -of-the-week rut: but the cool thing is I can't even begin to imagine what a season arc could be....
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.

ReplyDeletelooks ok but have a feeling it will turn into the usual CBS procendural in a few episodes
ReplyDeletewith every new scene that I see from the pilot, the more interested I get...
ReplyDeletebut its at thursdays at 9, thats the only thing that concerns me... its a pretty competitive slot...
ReplyDeleteOn NBC, it's the 30 Rock time slot, and I don't know what's planned for Love Bites at the end of summer.-
ReplyDeleteI expected Michael Emerson to be great, and he is, but it looks like Jim Caviezel is also terrific. This is the new show that most interests me.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely gonna watch this. And not just because Michael Emerson is in this

ReplyDeleteLook Incredible!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I missed having Michael Emerson on my screen.
ReplyDeleteNot really my type of show, but I like the twists on it, and of course... The sublime Michael Emerson. I'll definitely give it a try.

ReplyDeleteIt also seems like Minority Report (I'm expecting Mr. Reese's number to come up on the machine eventually).
