    Not body deserves it more. These guys work incredibly long hours carrying almost all the acting weight of the show. Awesome to be able to give them a little love back.

    It is great the show won however just a question where are we showing the love for Jared? the show wins which is great but that isnt really for Jared but the show has a whole . Jensen wins and Misha bless him wins but where are we showing Jared we love him as well?.I just find it odd we think we are showing Jared love when we vote for the show yet vote fan favourite awards individually for Jensen and Misha .

    i'm guessing you're a sam girl?
    i dunno, its hard b/c i don't think jared will ever beat jensen in a fan fave competition. which is sad because jared is incredible. i guess just more people out there are dean girls (i am but only because of season 4)
    but, when the show wins, it wins as a whole, its for both brothers because the show couldn't win a fan fave if it weren't for both jared and jensen
    and, well, jared couldn't really win best non human so thats not misha's fault

    I would never say never. Jared's got quite a bit going for him. But to significantly shift fan opinion it would take a commitment from the show's writing staff to stop writing Sam as a victim and start writing him as a leader.

    i rememeber reading something by someone here (don't remember who, sorry) about how ever since one point in like season one or 2, the whole show has really been told form dean's perspecitve
    which i never really noticed but once it was pointed out i totallyagree
    which i think is a big part of why jensen always wins

    I think the majority of the story has been from Dean's perspective, but it's more than that. The Dean and Sam characters started out with Dean being the one who was about family - his primary concern was about keeping the family together - and Sam was the ambitious one, the independent thinker who wanted to bring about meaningful change. John's wish for the two of them was that Dean would have a family and Sam would go back to school. At first Sam's ambition meant getting himself out of the hunter life and scoring top grades at Stanford, then it was about his powers and whether he should use them to save Dean, kill Lilleth, and end the apocolypse. At some point, I think to strengthen the contrived link between Sam and Lucifer, it became that everything that Sam did that involved flexing some power turned bad, so Dean was left rescuing his brother and playing the leadership role. When Sam could have had the chance to rescue Dean at the end of season 3, it didn't happen. And then after Sam let out Lucifer, he didn't have much more than a supporting role until it became time to jump into the pit.

    Dean's had a chance to realize his dream of having a family - even if it was only for a short while - but Sam's storyline during the year after the apocalypse seems to be more victimization. We'll find out more in a few weeks, but that's what they've been hinting at all season. Sam needs to be given the chance to be the leader that he was meant to be and start turning his assets (his brain, and I think his powers too, even though it appears they're being written out of the story) into a chance to make a real difference.

    I agree and I'd like the solution to be when there is a two lead show, both the actors are treated as a unit. I'm talking the major TV Show awards only and not the "Best Alpha male" types polls.

    But it'll never happen and Jared will likely still always lose to Jensen. It makes me sad for Jared who has acted his heart out but loses to Jensen because Jensen has a bigger fan base than him ... essentially JA could phone in his lines (I'm NOT he does, Jensen is a great actor - but so is JP) and still win these polls because he has more fans voting for him.

    I understand your point that when the show wins EVERYONE on the show wins but there is still only one "best actor award "and it has always gone to Jensen over Jared in every single poll, whether large or small. Naturally JP couldn't win best non human character - I'm not blaming Misha or Jensen for that matter.

    Exactly .I love Jensen and Misha but because of the nature of lets vote for Jensen the fandom is making it look all too one -sided . And that is the impression a outsider looking in would get . I know it wont change bacause Jensen does have the larger fan base an good luck to him . I just dont think Jared is less deserving of that personal touch from the Supernatural fandom thats all.
