Hey Guys,

The latest episode of Supernatural has aired and this is where it ranks in comparison to the previous episode this season:

Slotting in just below half point suggests the episode split opinions. Do you agree on the episodes placing?

  1. I'm surprised it isn't up higher. It should definitely be above CYHiYB and 2.5 Men. I will never understand why 3rd Man isn't at the bottom.

  4. The Third Man was probably one of my least favorites. Unforgiven is better. Makes no sense.

  5. I don't think this is too far off. My Heart was a cute episode, but it was a little too slow paced to be run this late in the season. I could nitpick the placement of certain episodes, for example I'd move up a few slots Unforgiven and Twihard and move down Two and a Half Men and You Can't Handle the Truth, but overall I think the list reflects the general quality of the episodes. I recently rewatched The Third Man, and I still like it. I think it was funny, and I liked the introduction of Balthazar, the concept of souls as currency, and Heaven's nukes on the loose. I still don't get what people mean when they say it had pacing problems.

  6. Huh???? I would switch it and the Third Man.

  7. Doesn't really reflect how I feel about it, I would have put it up between Caged Heat and The Third Man.

  8. Quite frankly I think all of them should be above Third Man. It, Unforgiven, and Mannequin are the 3 I wouldn't miss if I never saw them again.

  9. "superior non-showcase of the war in heaven" Bwah! I love how you phrase things. And I agree it was superior in every way.

  10. I watched it a little late, and I quite enjoyed it. Should be higher.

  11. Seriously? I think it's amongst my top 6-7 of the season. The French Mistake is a total leader for me, then Samarra and the Truth. My Heart Will Go On is for me about in the same place as Caged Heat, Family Matters and Live Free or Twihard. It even beats And Then There Were None. I would also put all the others below it.

  12. I liked the Third Man too, in fact much more than the beloved by everyone Weekend at Bobby's. Don't get all the complainment either.

  13. Am I the only one who liked Live Free Or Twihard? Seriously I loved that episode with badass Dean. I don't get why it's so low. I am happy with the three first ones though but sometimes I think Supernatural fans are really difficult.

  14. True dat. :) Third Man is at the bottom along with Unforgiven for me. But, even a bad episode of Supernatural is better than most other shows on TV.

  15. Nope. I loved it. I hate the whole 'vampires in lust' craze prevalent nowadays and want it to end. So seeing Dean as a vamp just go in and kill everything was refreshing. Vamp Dean was much cooler than anything Twilight or VD could ever hope to create. :)

  16. I liked it too. So what if it didn't mock the vampire mania as much as expected? It was still cool, with Sam watching Dean get turned, the nest and the Alpha putting the vision in Dean's head. The vision was so awesome - I only regret it did not have any deeper meaning.

  17. I really liked Live Free.. too. It was really atmospheric and smart. Actually, the only episode that I really, really despised was Mannequin 3. There are bits and pieces of some other ones that I thought could have been better done (*cough* The Third Man *cough*) but overall I've enjoyed the rest.
