SAM AND DEAN TEMPT FATE — After Balthazar (guest star Sebastian Roche) changes history and keeps the Titanic from sinking, Fate (guest star Katie Walder) intervenes and begins killing those that would have died on the ship. Castiel (Misha Collins) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) that Fate is very upset with the two of them and the only way they can stay alive is to kill her. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Eric Charmelo & Nicole Snyder (#618).

Thanks! I wish this would be episode 18 but it's episode 17.
ReplyDeleteI know. I want Frontierland so much more than this one, but at least its a new episode and not a rerun
ReplyDeleteI still don't understand why Balthazar is such a Titanic fan.
ReplyDeleteWe want cowboys and not ships. Lol
ReplyDeleteWooop glad to see Sebastian Roche back!
ReplyDeleteHe's not. At Paleyfest they said Balthazar didn't like the movie so he went back and stopped it from sinking, so no movie was ever made.
ReplyDeleteHe is a film buff, though. First The Godfather, now Titanic. Next time- Balthazar won't like the ending of King Kong, so he'll create him in the real world to see if humans can really kill him
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Fate is immune to the colt...
ReplyDeleteAnd why Balthazar can't kill her himself.
I think she is. My theory is that basic concepts, like God, the Devil, Death, Fate, etc. are all immune to it. 'Cause we found out last season there are some things it can't kill, so that's what I think. But apparently there's SOME way to kill her. We'll have to wait and see...
ReplyDeleteSo long as Sam doesn't have to start chugging demon blood in order to kill her :P
ReplyDeleteAnd I also wonder if Balthazar stops the Titanic from sinking not just on a capricious, spoiled-angel-boy 'I hate that movie' whim, but to deliberately draw Fate out.
That would make the storyline so much cooler. I also wonder why Castiel, now that he has heaven's biggest weapons, can't kill Fate but the Winchesters can. Sounds fishy to me.
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting. I'm also wondering another thing - with all the time-travels and alternate realities we've seen, alot of people who should've lived died, and vice versa. Why does Fate show up just now? Hope they'll explain that.
ReplyDeleteAnd that's a good point, with Cas and the weapons. Maybe angels can't kill her, for some reason.
That's the best point made yet. She should have been correcting things when it didn't sink, not now. That's the problem with time-altering stories. Did fate take a century-long vacation?
