EDITED: This is an APRIL FOOLS ARTICLE. Nothing I have posted is legitimate. Please proceed accordingly with what you believe!
"Expect an imminent loss. I might be slightly going too far by saying this, but fans will really need to brace themselves for this one. First there's a fair bit of backstabbing, and there's a few things I can't speak on directly, a lot about Castiel's past that brings his motives into the light fully, a good bit of character development, and there's at least one death in the episode--one you may not expect..."
What does this mean? Is Cas gonna die like many have fearfully suspected? Are we going to be in tatters by the end of this episode? Well, I'd say so, but I don't know yet. Can't wait for it!

So, what do you guys think about all this!?
ReplyDeleteYep. I still think shady Cas is gonna bite it.
ReplyDeleteI'm still not sure his death is coming or not, but sounds like Cas will have some 'splaining to do....
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! why did I read this? headdesk! headdesk! oh man. I will now forget everything I've read.
ReplyDeleteGod, I hate April's fool, lol!
ReplyDeleteI think that no one clicked in your source, lol... ;)
ReplyDeleteNice one! ;D
ReplyDeleteSorry. Let me elaborate...
ReplyDeleteDespite any date related shenanigans, I still think Cas is gonna bite it. Good on ya, though. :)
Wilson, Wilson, Wilson.......
ReplyDeleteYes, Jilly? :D
ReplyDeleteYou would of been my hero if your post read:
ReplyDelete'Ello. What's all this then?
But he's been on set filming the finale. So obvs he doesn't die in 6.20. I think Dean buys it and that's what crumbles Sam's wall. Or maybe Bobby. It'd be crazy to ditch Collins, he brings too many fans to the show.
ReplyDeleteWell some of the rumours on twitter are saying all cast members were present for the season finale. But that doesn't really prove anything. Cas could die if they wrap up his story line in these final eps.I could live with that!
ReplyDeleteBalthazar could stab him in the back, that would be like him. Castiel's past is alittle ambiguous. It will be very interesting to see his character develop, sometimes he feels very one dimensional.Would it be a loss???
Maybe, but Dean and Sam are very capable of doing their job without him. Could Bobby go, definitely not, who would there be to kick their darling asses when they get uppty and self-absorbed. And we know Damn well that Dean and Sam aren't going anywhere.
Just thinking out loud!
Cas? Bobby? I think the boys and Bobby will feel betrayed by Cas. I think he was in on Crowley's death for his own motives. They may learn that Cas has been much more powerful all along than they thought or that he knew how everything up until this point would happen and could've helped them more. Ash couldn't find Ellen, Mary or John in Heaven. Could it be one of them who will die for good?
ReplyDeleteCas could've been fighting Eve from the beginning of time and his friendship with Sam and Dean all this time could've been to set them up to fight her when she finally rose to Earth. This would be the ultimate betrayal. This would mean his entire relationship with them had been a lie all along.
Whatever we find out, I believe Cas and Crowley have been working together all along. I believe Lucifer will make a reappearance to gloat to Sam about Cas' betrayal, causing the wall to fall down. Deep in my gut, I am dreading the season finale. The questions and sadness that we will be left with for the summer will be almost unbearable for a true SPN fan, but will bring us a finale worthy of Supernatural.
These are just my thoughts. I can't wait to hear from the rest of my fellow Supernatural junkies!
And by the way - you've been (relatively) quiet on the SPN front lately - we haven't scared you away with all the hiatus grumpiness and fangirly nonsense have we?
ReplyDeleteYour source! hahahaha
ReplyDeleteI almost fell for it -_- LOL
April Fools! LOL
ReplyDeleteI can't even think of Cas dying without shedding a tear. poor Cas :'(
ReplyDelete:( Not Cas! Well, this is Supernatural. Though their writing may pull heart strings, we all know that anything is possible. They've brought Castiel back twice... surely they could do it again? Presuming he's even the one to bite it... oooh, I can't wait to see what happens. I hope he lives, Misha has had too much fun with this, it'd be a shame to let go now :) I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought season six has been somewhat lacking thus far, but it really excites me to see it picking up now. But man, make us wait over a month for a new episode? Boo... I love this show :)
ReplyDeleteICWUTUDIDTHAR WILSON
ReplyDeleteGuys... What day is it today... That should tell you all you need to know about Cas dying rumor.
ReplyDeleteThis is so NOT what I wanted to read first thing in the morning... *sighs*
ReplyDelete"I might be slightly going too far by saying this, but fans will really need to brace themselves from this one."
I don't think she would say something like that,if she was talking about Cas.She knows that he is a fan favorite and the way I understand the "slightly going too far" comment means that, okay you may like this character, you will be sad to see him go,but you'll survive.
So..Balthazar?Or Crowley(if he really is still alive)? In any case, even if they were gonna kill Cas(and I don't think they will),they won't do it in episode 20!They'll do it 5 minutes before the season finale!
The backstabbing though is a whole different case..I hope it has something to do with Balthazar betraying Cas and not Cas betraying the boys, but hoping for things on SPN has not helped me in the last 6 years.... : (
Everyone should have their tissues ready, that's for sure...
yeah... I do not find this very funny I'm afraid. Saying a character will possible die is not my idea of a good April Fools joke.
ReplyDeletenice source link)))
ReplyDeleteNope, just got a lot going on lately.
ReplyDeleteI guess that's just too bad.
ReplyDeleteI hate you right now... ; )
ReplyDeleteSorry, that's lightyears away from being funny. :(
ReplyDeleteBetter luck next year.
I doubt Cas will die in this episode. There was a spoiler earlier that lead me to believe that in the last episode there was going to be some sort of fissure between the Winchesters and Castiel.
ReplyDeleteWho knows who will die. It could be a PiP or a Castiel's new angel friend..Remiel (?) or possibly even Raphael himself.
Please don't even joke about Bobby dying! Dean can die, because as we all know you just can't keep a good Winchester in the grave!
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that I am not interested in learning about Castiel's past? Am I the only one? I always just assumed his was a warrior angel hanging out in Heaven following orders until he was ordered to save Dean Winchester and his little Angel life was changed forever.
ReplyDeleteThe show is about the Winchesters (and Bobby, because he is family) not he Angels!
Don't get me wrong, I do like Cas being an ally to the Winchesters, but I just don't feel the need to explore his past.
Even though this is an April fools joke it has sparked.some.good.discussions.I personally don't care one way.or the other whether Cas stays or not. if he stays develop the character, if not wrap him up so his presence made sense as well as his death.
ReplyDeleteAnd yup as long as it's.relative to the Winchesters.
I dislike immensely april fools jokes, but I must say I enjoyed this one...I think we should prank jilly shes been cranky lately... He he he
ReplyDeleteOK so the joke wasn't funny but hey it did get people discussing what's coming up on the show.
ReplyDeleteList of characters who could die-
Sam-if he dies it doesn't really matter he'll be back on the show next season
Dean-see above
Bobby-would they really go there again?
Castiel-the angels are past their prime but Cas is possibly too popular to get rid of-with the angel story war coming to a head I expect either more of the same from Cas or for him to fall. Personally if he died I wouldn't care.
Lisa-I don't care for the character but I don't want a whole season of Dean angsting over her death besides what would happen to Ben assuming Lisa dies and he doesn't
Ben-would the writers really kill off a kid?
Raphael-arc angels have been killed off before and no one really likes this one, plus it'd pretty much end the war in heaven
Rachel-Cas's angel friend who who will probably turn out to be a bad guy or gal in this case, dont care if she dies
Balthazar-like the guy which means he's probably going to bite it
Roy and Walt-rumoured to be back in episode 21, will Dean carry out his threat of revenge? Does anyone really care if these two bite it?
So there we have it, I cant think of any other characters and frankly other than Sam and Den I dont care if any of the rest die and don't come back.
One thing to keep in mind though is Jared's little hint of 'new beginnings'
It made my day.
ReplyDeleteSooooo good! :D Legendary, even. I went to work happy and smiling because of this, that never happens!!
ReplyDeleteClick on "Ausiello" folks ;).
ReplyDeleteI'm not a Cas Fan by far but I highly doubt he's going to die in this episode. However, I'm eager for the Angel/Civil War in Heaven to end this season not be carried over to next season. So Cas may die in the finale or not - fighting either the Mother or Raphael. But Castiel must win the War before he dies or else Raphael gives the Apocalypse a "Re-Boot" and leave the Leadership of Heaven in a trusted ally's' hands ((Rachel, Balthazar).
I 'd very much like S7 to be Angel-Free and I don't mean Cas being de-powered or Cas giving Jimmy his body back unless Jimmy goes home and stays home. Sorry Castiel/MC fans.
I'm not expecting Rachel to live long, so that's one.
ReplyDeleteI'm going with Lisa for the second. She has a sister, so I expect Ben would go off to live with the sister over summer break. Dean may visit a few times over the summer. Dean gets one episode of angst. After that he turns into a badass hunter who wants revenge on the monsters.
One of the things about this season that I think has caused it to feel a little flat is that unlike others, Dean and Sam are not personally connected to Mother or the angel civil war. There was passion driving season 1 because YED had killed their mother and done something to Sam. Killing Lisa would make the hunt personal again.
they are part of the show, misha is even aregular, jim isn t.l/b count as family to dean to yet they aren t featured much.plus cas should count as dean and sam s family too considering he die for them and everything.plus he was barely in any episodes this season
ReplyDeleteI don't think the writers are planning a stroll down memory lane just because they had some extra time time to fill. The memories will explain his motivations for his actions this season (which we'll also be finding more about).
ReplyDeletePlus, Cas passed being just an "ally" a long time ago and is now just as much their family as Bobby is.
Thanks for the well wishes! :D
ReplyDeleteI don't think everything has to be about the Winchesters. Sometimes it's nice to step back and see things through different eyes. I thought that approach worked nicely in Weekend in Bobby's.
ReplyDeleteDamn April Fools!
ReplyDelete!!!!! I HATE THIS SHOW IT SUCKS! I CANT HANDLE SPOILERS OMG! Okay first off, there is a death in this one PLUS 2 in the finale????? Too weird. second, ARGH I hate Sera for this! NOW IM EVEN MORE FREAKED OUT!
ReplyDeleteARGH! -stops screaming and starts crying-
EVIL! I WILL KILL YOU!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFor the record THAT was NOT funny. *turns red* Dont play around with my castiel! I'm so scared for him
ReplyDeleteThis is just too good. Sorry for all the emotional trauma but you should know better coming to a spoilers site on April Fool's day...
ReplyDeletelol you totally do NOT hate this show.
ReplyDeleteMe? Cranky? I'm never cranky.....
ReplyDeleteWell almost never......
Well..... maybe sometimes......
But only when people don't agree with me......
Or say stupid things........
Or they're just plain WRONG.....
Well I'm happy you think I can THINK BEFORE ACTING! It's just instinct going here HAAHAH!
ReplyDeletestill not funny :( cut the death and im sure the rest is true :((((((
fine
ReplyDeleteAnd how often is that when you've been missing some Dean pie !
ReplyDeleteGod to see not much will make you cranky very often.....
Fudge anybody...
ReplyDeleteOt always helps me down off the ledge...
ot?
ReplyDeleteI respectfully disagree about Cas being family.
ReplyDeleteOt...?you don't know?? It means it..
ReplyDeletehehehe. Typing On my phone presents a few challenges sometimes...touch screen is touchy
I used to think Cas was going to join the Winchester clan, but not anymore. He has very much been an ally but they tended to have mutual goals. Now when their goals are much different, we see that he is not so much their family as a great person to have on their side. I think the opposite is true for Cas as well. Bobby earns the title family a whole lot more.
ReplyDeleteI hope Lisa and Ben make it for three selfish reasons. One, I like them and want to see more of Dean as a father figure. Two, Dean has angsted enough and the grief overload will end up annoying me. Three, I cannot abide the thought of another round of brother griping. One half of the fandom will be complaining that Sam stole Dean's hell storyline, while the half would complain that Dean stole Sam's dead girlfriend storyline. I'm tired of all the brother griping. Plus, it would be nice to go into an original direction instead of feeling like we are re-hashing old plots.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. There's no way Dean kills Roy and Walt, especially since learning that they have died numerous times. They didn't have Dean shoot Grandpa Creepy so they aren't going to have him murder two people no one cares about and the non-online fandom probably does't even remember.
ReplyDeleteTry it, Chanelle. I'm ready.
ReplyDeleteLol I tried to change the "t" to make sense but didnt think of the O lol. And yeah stupid phone. (mine's in french so he corrects my "mistakes" when I write in english.... damn a**) :P
ReplyDeleteDamn... no one said that before. :O
ReplyDelete;) nay, you're fun, I'll forgive you... one day
OK, we have different opinions, but to my point -
ReplyDelete- Bobby would and has given his life for them (when he died in Swan Song)
- Cas would and has given his life for them (when he died in Swan Song)
- Bobby lives his own life but hooks up with the brothers for occasional cases
- Cas lives his own life but hooks up with the brothers for occasional cases
- Dean takes Bobby for granted
- Dean takes Cas for granted
- Bobby puts Dean in his place when he deserves it
- Cas puts Dean in his place when he deserves it
- Dean didn't see Bobby for the year after Swan Song
- Dean didn't see Cas for the year after Swan Song
- Bobby appears to have genuine affection for them
- Cas appears to have genuine affection for them
It's a little more awkward with Cas because he's not used to having close human relations, and yes, he's obviously hiding something right now, but I'm not seeing that much difference here. Cas has the fate of world on his shoulders right now, and his attachment is real.
Jensen has already stated the Lisa and Ben will be getting closure so they wont be back Agree on the angst thing, I really cant handle any more Dean angst. I never actually thought of fans saying Dean stole Sam's dead girlfriend storyline, I guess with this fandom anything is possible. I mean Dean girls have been complaining about Sam stealing Dean's hell storyline all season. And oh god Yes no more Sam V Dean bullshit. It's SamAndDean against the world or nothing.
ReplyDeleteMY PREDICTION-I'm still going with Balthazar as one of the ones dying in the finale and probably Raphael. Rachel wont make it to the finale. Roy and Walt will get a nice dose of just desserts but wont be killed.
Honestly I really don't care who dies, it's Jared's 'new beginnings' that has me confused and anxious.
I don't think Dean will kill Roy and Walt either, I just don't see the writers taking Dean there. They like him to be the untainted one. If they did go there however it could be very interesting, season 7 could see a darker Dean. I'd quite like for Sam and Dean to be completely badass, take no prisoners, middle finger to the world hunters next season-they've been manipulated, pushed around and treated like crap for far too long. It's time to take control.
ReplyDeleteI don't think Cas is gonna die... not just cause I'm wishing with everything that he wont, but because it says "one you may not expect" and now we're all "Oh shit, Cas is gonna die!". I'm thinking someone less likely. Maybe Raphael? Balthazar?
ReplyDeleteI do, however, think that Cas is going to backstab the boys (insert crying face here) somehow. Buuuut 'cause he loves Dean it'll be fixed somehow someway :P lol
^^; I don,t understand why it's suppose to be a good ''prank'' for April 1st since there's a lot of picturse of Misha and Seb having fun on the set during the finale....and also, when I said last week that there's nothing to worry about for Cas in the 6x20, someone answered me back :''Nobody think Cas will die in the 6x20...''
ReplyDeleteIf nobody was thinking that, why put an article like this? ^^; Maybe someone that could be believable would have been better
...Because it isn't that big of a deal? And obviously (if you actually read the comments on this article) people fell for it anyway...
ReplyDeleteI know ^^; that's why i said last week to people ''Don't worry''...and still someone came and said that nobody was worry...that's weird...and anyway, all we need to do is watch the pictures of Misha and Sebastien posted earlier, took when they filmed the finale...and we know that Cas won,t die in the 6x20
ReplyDelete:D So don,t worry people! Go watch again the pictures!
Didn't Jared in a PaleyFest interview say something along the lines of - if the series ended in season 6, Sam might or would be dead?
ReplyDeleteThe "new beginnings" is probably bigger than this, but I'd think that he's probably talking in part about some change to Sam from remembering Hell. The show's been building up how Sam's hell is different than Dean's for so long, I would think there will be some permanent psychological repercussions from the wall falling. I could see him emerging from this a little different - kind of like a new beginning. If Cas is turned human, that would also qualify as a new beginning. Dean is also having to confront his issues and possibly give up the dream of having his own family, so he might emerge from this different as well.
I avoided reading anything SPN related on April 1st - therefore posting now :) However I think Cas will do plenty of backstabbing (the previous regrettable acts mentioned at the beginning of the season) but they won't kill off Cas.
