A quick update on the TV Romantic Couple Competition which you can still cast your nominations in over HERE

The top ten nominated character couples so far are:

    Too funny that 'delena' is in the top ten and stefan/elena aren't...

    My vote goes to Castle/Beckett... even though they aren't technically a couple yet, they have the best chemistry, and the best chance at a lasting relationship. :) Gotta be able to make each other laugh!

    Pro-tip: Gays and lesbians are by no means in any stretch of the imagination ~included in everything nowadays~. Serious gay/lesbian relationships on television even less so (or they're completely overlooked).

    Way to go for Michael and Nikita for such a new show!!
    Though I am really excited about Olivia and Peter! Though I have to say if you think about it JJ Abrams like to wait just about 3 seasons before having his characters that people ship get together (beginning of season 3 of LOST for Sawyer and Kate/Vaughn and Sydney in Alias I believe took about that long, and the end of season 2 for Peter and Olivia)

    They are as much of a couple as Bones and Booth or Castle and Beckett... if not more. I think the strings were loosened to allow any two characters that ever flirted with one another, gave longing looks, or had thoughts of the other that may lead to coupling. Otherwise one third of the Top 10 don't fit....

    This is less and less true though. A lot of the show based on relashonship have some gay poeple that have big story lines, of course im not talking about csi and compani but those arnt about couple so its normal

    How is it funny that Delena are in the top 10 but Stelena aren't? Stelena are SO boring, the death of the show. It's no surprise to me that DE are there and SE aren't.

    There doesn't have to be a gay representation, Klaine just wasn't popular enough. Especially since Glee has so many characters and different couples, they're not as popular than the couples whose show has been going on for awhile and they're mostly the center of the show.
