  1. So now we know who Chin was protecting for all those years.

  2. So Alex must've really broke his arm. Dangerous show. First Scott Caan hurts his knee, then Alex O'loughlin breaks his arm. Maybe they should consider using stunt doubles. :)

  3. Awesome ep! The air I "heart" you as Steve was being airlifted - priceless. Love the Steve-Danny scenes throughout. Chin and Kono had some meaty scenes, too. Finally got some back story on Chin. How cool that it paralleled Steve having to make the same decision to save Chin from the bomb collar. Haha, Danny wiping his hand on Steve's shirt and the argument over signing the cast and the flirting waitress were fun to watch. I absolutely love the bromance - so much chemistry on screen tonight.

  4. Nice to have this show back on my TV!! Sometimes I want a fun, kick ass action comedy that doesn't make me think. Pure entertainment!

  5. No Alex did not break his arm. DDK was tweeting during the episode and someone asked that very question. However DDK did say that Alex wanted to break his arm for the episode. The man is either crazy or dedicated, I am not sure which.

  6. Alex and Scott are just wonderful together as Steve and Danny and I enjoy watching them the most! I love Alex either way, but for him to "want to" break his arm for the show, well, that sounds rather crazy to me. I thought maybe Alex really did break his arm because other actors have done the same (Jared Padalecki on Supernatural) and it just seemed to have fit into the storyline somehow. But, still, it is a relief that it was not real this time.

  7. I just loved this episode. Steve and Danno are the team of the decade. They are so great together. Just love them. It is a joy to watch them.
Kono and Chin had some really good scenes too. Even if Kono is a bit naive with her just black and white perspective. Live is not just black and white. But she is a great character and Grace Park is doing a really good job with her.
This is easily one of my top 5 favorite eps of H50 so far. Great job all around. And the action in the beginning, just great.

  8. Kono is still learning and growing. She will come to see the shades of grey eventually.

  9. I thought it was kind of crazy when I read that tweet from DDK about Alex and the breaking of the arm.

  10. No he didn't break it. When McGarrett fell from the rock if you look closely it's his stunt double that did the stunt. Trust me I looked back to see if it was Alex when I was screencapping the promo last week.

I actually knew because I saw BTS video of them filming at the Hawaiian village and somebody filmed Alex getting his arm wrapped up by a crew member which really shows the answer that he didn't break it.

The producers wouldn't anyways let Alex break his arm for insurance reasons

  11. The fact that Alex may have actually wanted to do that is kind of crazy. At least that is what Daniel put on twitter the other night during the airing of the show.

    I saw the video too.

What I like is that Steve's arm isn't going to be all better for next week's episode.
