Blair has NO romantic feelings for Dan. I'm a chair fan, but I would admit if I saw even a glimpse of it in her eyes or the way she looked at him, and I didn't see anything, I DID see it in Dan's eyes though. Blair defended Dan so I think they could actually be good friends if they allowed themselves to be. She told Dan he has a princess waiting for him, so she thinks he belongs with Serena. Next thing Chuck needs to redeem himself in Blair's eyes so she can see that he's ready for a real relationship for her. I'm thinking that the next episode the prince comes and she jumps at the chance for her fairytale but she won't really be in love with him since she admitted herself in this episode that she had already chosen chuck and said he was her prince, so those feelings dont go away overnight. We just have to wait and see how everything unfolds.
Overall I think this episode was just okay. It was overhyped in my opinion but an improvement from past episodes.
i was very disappointed about dair. i still think it has a shot. i just think its a waste of time for them to spend so many episodes building it up then just turn it down so fast. i cant wait for when dan finally tells her he has feelings for her. i think shes going to finally admit it then
Gossip Girl like all shows in the CW are so obvious as to where they going. They will flirt Dan and Blair and then Blair will be all like, "you like me but you don't like "me" you want me to change and blabla"
You're not delusional. She loves Chuck. She said it throughout the entire episode. She is just disapppointed in him. She has no romantic feelings for Dan, she said that throughout the entire episode too. Don't get discouraged.
Much to my surprise, I really enjoyed watching the VanDerWoodsen Family drama. I'm somewhat glad that Cousin Charlie seems to be a psychopath. Can only make it more entertaining. Of course they fucked up Chuck and Blair yet again so to keep the "I can't make her happy" rule (without realizing that it sucks btw) but at least Blair told Dan that he means nothing to her.
The real question must be: How dare Blair to ask from CHuck to be an adult when not even three episodes ago she stood at his doorstep and ask him to SLEEP WITH HER BOSS! Doesn't that count as an immature scheme? Imo, it does. I can't stand that she thinks she's that much better or more mature than him right now.
I think Dan will fight for Blair, I hope he does anyway. Blair needs to step back and see things as they really are... Chuck = douche, Prince Louis = boring, Dan = perfect.
Glad we got some Chair scenes. Chuck saying that he's about to build his own legacy and he wants Blair to be part of it? Please let it be an indication of the direction the show is going. #savechuckandblair
I love how Chuck went an extra mile to get that Princess Diana's dress for Blair to wear. It shows how much he wants her to feel like a princess, something she has wanted to be ever since...I'm pretty sure Chair is endgame because of the obstacles they have to go through but I wish the writers stop doing this to them. As a fan I want to see their relationship grow together rather than just reuniting them towards the end of the show. I'm so sad when I saw Chuck taking that pic alone!!! and I think the best think from this episode is Blair still loves Chuck and doesnt have feelings for Dan!
It was me or Blair's face went sad when Dan told her that he was going to tell her the kiss was nothing to him??? :O It was a Great episode for me! I wanted more Dair!!
I agree I was a little annoyed by that, but I think they want us to believe that Blair took that week alone in her room and had an epiphany, that she belongs with Chuck but without the games and stuff.
If you think it was a waste of time for them to spend so many episodes building it up just to turn it down, think about how us Chair fans feel. They have been building up this couple for seasons only to let us down time and time again. I dont want to fight Dair vs Chair, it's tiring and pointless, because in the end the writers are going to do what they want, but I just wanted to say how unfair it is to all parties concerned how the show has played out..
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
i thought this episoe was really good a huge improvement from episodes 12-17 and one of the best of the season IMO i voted awesome
ReplyDeleteCan't believe I'm saying this but...
ReplyDeleteI hate that they downplayed "Dair" or whatever the cool kids are calling them these days.
So my findings in this episode:
ReplyDeleteBlair has NO romantic feelings for Dan. I'm a chair fan, but I would admit if I saw even a glimpse of it in her eyes or the way she looked at him, and I didn't see anything, I DID see it in Dan's eyes though.

ReplyDeleteHow am I delusional? I just stated my opinion on what I saw on the show tonight.

ReplyDeleteIt is great the we got Chair scenes! Blair loves Chuck, now we just need Chuck to grow up!

I think in the next episode promo we see dan and blair kissing.
ReplyDeleteSo there is definitely chance for dair
It was me or Blair's face went sad when Dan told her that he was going to tell her the kiss was nothing to him??? :O It was a Great episode for me! I wanted more Dair!!
ReplyDeleteI think Blair was still sad about Chuck because right after they showed her seeing Chuck taking the picture alone and she looked even sadder.
ReplyDeleteI agree I was a little annoyed by that, but I think they want us to believe that Blair took that week alone in her room and had an epiphany, that she belongs with Chuck but without the games and stuff.
