Loved the team going to a horror movie together.... Slice... and then fittingly the killer is a slicer! I do not recall the team hanging out together very much in the past.
I think the wardrobe stylist should get a raise. Did you notice them all standing together as they entered the BAU, Reid in stripes, Garcia in floral, Seaver in harlequin pattern and Rossi in solids. It was a nice variety...
Another very good episode, but this time I did not get into the unsub's mind as much as in the best episodes. I did enjoy how Seaver seemed to be the one that got inside his head and distracted him. Very believably too. I am glad that Rossi shot Greg the unsub at least. Rossi seems to be the most well balanced and able to pull a trigger without hesitation, plus he won't dwell on it. Dead bad guy.. move on.
Overall a darn good episode and the team worked well together... again.
I do find it very annoying that on the same day its leaked that CBS is talking to Brewster and Cook about returning that they keep on with this facade of a grief assesment. Personally I think the team handled Prentiss leaving better than the fans did. CBS may want to consider grief counseling for Criminal Minds fans next time....
Actually what is new about this spoiler is AJ in negotiations to return. They repeated the same story about Paget - she's yet to decide, she has a pilot, etc. I'm very inclined to believe they are bringing back AJ because Paget is not returning. They keep hopes up so people stay tuned but they wouldn't turn back to AJ after the way they fired her for nothing. Looks like a plan B to me.
Right. It's definitely new for return talks about JJ. Paget always had that deal, but I guess it depends on what "in talks" means. IF Brewster has made a decision finally and they are ACTIVELY discussing Prentiss returning to CM then that is new.
So Reid says he sometimes wonders what's the point, and Strauss just...lets it slide? I hope he gets a good bit of the season finale.....oh Gube-lovers everywhere would be in a tizzy.
I really liked the beginning... but it fell off for me a bit at the end. I'm still not comfortable with someone fresh from the academy taking such a prominent role.
I agree with that feeling on most cases, but in this particular one being a woman.. and younger like many of his victims made Seaver the perfect one to confront him.
ITA. I just don't really find it believable that she would even be in this team, let alone taking the lead. But she is the only female left of the profilers I guess. Hope JJ comes back if not Prentiss
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
