    Not bad, but it seemed like they were trying to drive it home a little too hard. I mean, the maturity of the show. Murder, death, betrayal, nudity and sex. They crammed all that into one episode as if trying to say "This isn't for kids." and beat you over the head with it until you accepted it.

    Still, I'll keep watching to see how things turn out. Amusingly enough, Eva Green and Katie McGrath have the same evil smirk.

    Maybe that is the thing I could not put my finger on about why I didn't fall for the show completely. I did feel the sex scenes were a little out of place or felt unneeded, but didn't really mind them either as long as it is not a sign of things to come. I like the plot, the twist on the Arthurian legend,the actors, but none of it WOWed me enough to love it.

    For me it was a shaky start, with Merlin running through the forest like some super hero, but by the end of it I was hooked. Some of the nude scenes and stuff was sort of thrown in for no reason, but hey Eva Green nude? I shall not complain :)

     I thought that the cast and the new twist on an old legend were great. Jamie Bower was an excellent choice for the young King Arthur, he was very convincing. I can't wait to see the whole series.
