The Doctor Who Magazine has stated that in the opening episodes either the Doctor, Amy, Rory or River will die. I thought this would be a good idea for a poll, to see what everyone else thought?
None of that matters. Rory, Amy, and The Doctor forge ahead through series 6 and, as you said, River is still around in the future so obviously none of the deaths are permanent.
Actually, that's not exactly true. I believe the doctor explained before that such events can be changed. As I recall, throughout the entire previous season, changing the future was alluded to many times.
River Song died in her first episode, However in the Angel story we are told that River killed a man "a good man" a hero to some. Several times this new season the doctor is refered to as a"a good man" seems very coincidental. I think he wont regenerate but will come back in the second half of the season
if you think about it the person who dies cant be the doctor cus there isnt a new one to replace matt smith and it cant be river cus she dies further in her future and in the doctors past there for either rory or amy but there is stuff about amys future story lines there for it has to be rory... it only makes sense
Surely River cant die though? she has to go back to the past to the library and if she doesnt then all of earth will die, as the doctor would die at the library then no one would stop the huge fight, wipe donnas mind and stop her dying. it wont be the dr coz hell regenarate and rorys already DEAD! (kill amy!!!)
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Well it won't be permanent anyway so probably Rory again :P
ReplyDeleteRiver can't die, yet anyway. She's already dead in the future when she takes the role of the library database back in Series 4 of the new Who
ReplyDeleteNow there's a running gag I can get behind. Keep killing off Rory again and again.
ReplyDeleteI vote Amy. She's the only one who hasn't died yet.
ReplyDeleteBut...but then we'd have to deal with a whiny Rory and I don't think I can take even more of that.

ReplyDeleteSince Rory is basically living plastic now, maybe The Doctor can simply sonic him to get him to shut up.
ReplyDeleteProbably River, because it seems like the Doctor is going to find out about her soon... so naturally she'll die.

ReplyDeleteRory went back to being human when the universe was restored.
ReplyDeleteReally? I don't recall that. I'm disappointed.
