SERENA IS SUSPICIOUS OF DAN AND BLAIR — Serena (Blake Lively) enlists Charlie (guest star Kaylee DeFer) to go undercover Gossip Girl-style to determine why Dan (Penn Badgley) and Blair (Leighton Meester) are spending so much time together, and what role an unexpected visitor is playing in their lives. With Nate’s (Chace Crawford) help, Raina (guest star Tika Sumpter) decides to go on a search for her long-lost mother. Chuck’s (Ed Westwick) hopes about his legacy are dashed with the reveal of devastating information from the past. Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. Liz Friedlander directed the episode written by Amanda Lasher (#419).

    I don't get why the guest star has a bigger story then the main (Nate). Hope we get some Chuck and Blair scenes though.

    i'm guessing this is the episode Jack (Desmond Harrington) Returns i hope we get some great Chair moments and why does serena even care why Dan and Blair are hanging out they've been broken up since season 2

    who Derena or Chair? to me that doesn't count especially since Serena was with ben for a few episodes and Dan briefly got back together with Vanessa and all of a sudden she carez who Dan habgs out with? and i wonder what secret Chuck Uncovers? i'm also expecting this to Be Jack Basses first episode back

    Both couples were back together for a bit. Chair in 4x08 and Derena in 4x10-12. I hope Jack comes back, too
