the black symbol looks slightly similar to that mysterious insignia on the man from the zeppelin in Olivia's mind who 'is probably going to be the man who kills [Olivia]'.
Have to agree. I did like the 3 leads walking down the hallway with red out one window and blue out the other.... but other than that one I think most of the mid-season wallpapers have been fairly mediocre at best.
Black and Red (which there is A LOT of through out FRINGE) Usually is associated with anarchy. However there is also a film noir novel titled "The Red and The Black" about a guy who tries to 'rise above' his social status.
There is also something called the red/black concept which has to do with encryption signals/codes for security uses (military, government, computer programming)
IMO the symbol itself looks like a "bug" or something electrical--so it could be something pertaining to a virus (since Frank is a virologist) or something like a force -star-black hole (star trek -Red matter)
The fact that they release it now may be important. It could simply just be thematic as the characters need to find a way to rise above their fear and find harmony and a better solution---or it could lead to something more cult-like.
NOTE: Name-calling, personal attacks, spamming, excessive self-promotion, condescending pomposity, general assiness, racism, sexism, any-other-ism, homophobia, acrophobia, and destructive (versus constructive) criticism will get you BANNED from the party.
Does anyone know what the tatoo means. Apart from a matching one on Frank.
ReplyDeleteWho cares!

ReplyDeleteThe latest wallpapers aren't so good, I think. Designers must come up with better ideas...
ReplyDeleteI don't really like this wallpaper... the first ones were better IMO :/
